On page 2 of this section is a topic "Replacement Washer", where Eddie describes how to attach a new washer to a piston, and spin it in a drill/lathe. Whilst spinning, the leather washer is sized with glass paper until it just slides down into compression chamber. I followed his further directions and got my 1921 Standard to shoot wonderfully!(Thanks Eddie!)
