Hi,
I bought a spring for my vintage BSA rifle. I installed the spring but now when I try and cock the rife it does not cock. I can see the trigger move back as the sear is coming closer but the trigger does not engage. I think the sear can’t move back far enough to “catch” the trigger.
I do not know too much about these rifles, is it possible that the spring I got is too long for the rifle?
