... about aural and visual effects.
I captured 3 different Youtubes a few nights ago ... of the BeeGees performing their song ALONE. All 3 have different visuals and one was called the "original". Two of them are performances on stage.
I listened to the official version first ... watching the graphics in the picture window. Then I listened to the second one and it sounded ... hmmm ... better! I watched/listened to the third and it was definitely my favorite. It just seemed to have a deeper stadium sound to it.
But then I said to myself ... "wait a minute... these ALL sound very similar in tempo and key. Why don't I play them simultaneously on two computers and then synchronize them?"
Ha! ... they were ALL IDENTICAL! They used canned music and simply lip-synched to the sound. That's why the stage versions sound so tight and flub-free.
The VISUALS accompanying the sound ... caused me to think that one of them sounded better than the other two.
