You know, Ice, there is this great modern Mystic, and I am happy to use this term about him (), and I think you will like him very much. I believe Mondo may already know of him. His name is Neil Kramer and I think that to date, almost certainly, this guy resonates with 'me' almost perfectly. He re-iterates the ‘truth’ that our Inner growth has been stunted in most of us due to the agendas of our manipulators. Reacting as such against the News Media, which has the darnest guile to try and be OUR eyes to what is Truth in the world, he says: I WILL DECIDE WHAT IS REAL AND I WILL DECIDE WHAT IS IMPORTANT AND I WILL DECIDE WHAT IS RELEVANT We need to work with ourselves, Ice and breakthrough that which has been forgotten, denied, yet which is the key to humanity's and each of our own unique styles, of something which can be referred to many things, but in this case. I will use the term Heart Portal (anyone aware of chakras will be aware of this term) but most of us are 'stuck' up to this awareness point in our energy system. We are still operating at the egoic stages, the density, and some feel we should have evolved out of this by now, and that it is the Elitists, the Controlling Powers, that have long been manipulating our understandings and holding up our evolving / transformation. This WILL happen though! Break through this Portal and we realise the beings of power that we really are. The relevance of all this to your point? You commented: "What is gained outside depletes what is inside." That was sheer synchronicity to me! The entry to the Path of Sovereignty. Sovereignty is the magic word. Sovereignty to recognise our own absolute serenity is absolutely key here. To recognise our own truths, not interpreted by anybody else This sovereignty shows itself in many ways and one expression of that, one impulse that arises in us is the Knowing, not just the idea, but the Knowing, that it is only ourselves that can determine what is real and what is relevant, and so when we watch the mainstream broadcasts, particularly the news, we are told THIS is important, people are dying, people are starving, and this is serious and this is real.. THIS is the agenda; we are now telling you what the priority of importance is and what the priority of realness is. It takes away the decision making for us and well, I will decide what is real, and I will decide what is important and I will decide what is relevant. So desensitising us to loads of people dying every day on the news is another trick, another story, another interview perhaps. But in this sense, it's the relevance of, if I switch on CNN or MSNBC or Fox or the BBC or whatever, how is that relevant to me? How can that possibly to relevant to me? It would be extraordinary if there was anything ever that's relevant on there to me, on my Path, on my Unique Journey, doing what I am doing in this world. And in fact, knowing where the media comes from, and how it is controlled, and how it is constrained, it would be statistically realistically impossible for that ever to be relevant to me. And once you have figured that out, you can dispose of the live broadcast television altogether, and if you d want a screen to enjoy movies and stuff like I do, fine, do that. Live broadcast programmes about current affairs, what the hot topics of the day are, in parenthesis, you know, what is the hard talk, the big issues, that is now no longer realistically holding the same hooks in people as it used to do. People are waking up to the fact that that's not true. All pieces are shatterings of the One Jigsaw! It's fun to try and fit together the little pieces we come across. Well, it SHOULD be fun... Where is the growth in this single little piece?
