      Fine post, Jackie.
      The 'great and the good,' the 'bemedaled and the holy,' and 'the necessary' are rarely to be found anywhere near hostilities - usually a clear continent's distance.

      For too long, Scot, Irish, Welsh, Black and Red, Pole, Canadian, Moari, Aussie and global 'working folk' have been conned, abused, slaughtered, maimed in contrived conflicts everywhere and local populations have been criminally misused in other folks' military adventures.
