The Story:
Natalia Oreiro starring role is in the new soap opera titled Kachorra.
It is a co-production between Telefe, Gustavo Yankelevich
and Raul Lecouna.
Kachorra is the name of the character played by Natalia.
Born into that of a poor family and situation, her life takes a
strange and amazing change.
As in the original novel "Morning Call" the story tracks the life
of a young lady called Antonia. Not liking the name and wanting
some excitement from her poor mundane existance, she soon wants
to be known as "Kachorra".
One afternoon, a crime is comitted, and being in the wrong place at
the wrong time, Kachorra is surrounded by mayhem.
Someone is murdered and Kachorra is accussed of the crime.
Of course, she is completely innocent, but without being able
to prove she didn't do it, the law charges her.
Fortunately she maneges to escape, and hides in a different house
in a different location and with a new identity.
Falling in, and taking the role of another girl, she decives to be
the new governess of the home, hired to take care of and educate,
two problematic adolescents. this is where the outrageous
scenarios begin.
Kachorra now has to immatate and pretend to be someone else.
Pretending to have a good education, speak several
languages and possess an etiquite of strong culture and behaviour
Struggling to live in the house with the rich people, her thin
disguise is always on the verge of being revealed and of course opens
up lot of comic situations
As expected, a feeling of love is developed by her towards the handsome
man in the house, and torn between this new found love and the deception
of her fugitive past, will she ever be the girl she once was?
