This is typical. Ice Dogs historically head for the bottom. |

Face the facts. HH must have had 40 shots to ID 10. You should be happy we only beat you 3-2 plus the empty. |

You....Are headed back to Grade 2 spelling!
Doggies are already at the bottom. How can they be headed there? |

It is not a surprise if Dogs finish 4th from the bottom as they are a weak team. When this group of players moved up from the A level their 2 best players went to other AA teams and this season the remaining good players left as well to go to other AA teams. So they are just left with a bunch of good A level players and the only reason they are not at the bottom in AA is because EC, VP and WML are all HL teams. |

They have the Oakville AAA goalie |
|
anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AA Toronto Ice Dogs | October 31 2011, 2:52 PM |
yes, and both goalies are keeping them in the games. They just can't score.
3-2 Terriers
3-2 Royals |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AA Toronto Ice Dogs | October 31 2011, 3:02 PM |
like we said before any goal scorers that were part of the team 3 seasons ago are all with other AA teams. Player that are left are just grinders that can't score. skills are limited and they would not even be dominated at the A level |

You're right about the makeup of this team. A at best.
Heard there were some broken promises at tryouts. But every team has that story.
They seem to be playing the top teams tough. |

Go back to the A team if you think the AA team is bad, gets alot worse there. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AA Toronto Ice Dogs | October 31 2011, 9:40 PM |
No comparison. A team cant even skate. AA would beat them by 30 goals. Hell the Canucks would beat them by 10. |

When I made the post below I was referring to the Erindale A team of 3 seasons ago. Not the Ice Dogs. The Ice Dogs have never had a good AA team and have never had any goal scorers.
like we said before any goal scorers that were part of the team 3 seasons ago are all with other AA teams. Player that are left are just grinders that can't score. skills are limited and they would not even be dominated at the A level

Who is going to take this team over next season after al the former Erindale kids give up on their failed AA experiment.
This team could be the new Canucks or WML next season as they are only slightly better this season. |

can't believe coach made his kid the captain with several better kids, both skill and personality wise, on the team they should be the Captain |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AA Toronto Ice Dogs | November 1 2011, 1:40 PM |
Actually the coaches kid is not the captain or an assistant. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AA Toronto Ice Dogs | November 1 2011, 3:20 PM |
OK that makes more sense and explains why some guy thinks the Captain is a good player. All but 1 of the Ex -Erindale guys should be headed back to A level. |

TID has one weak A level Goalie. |

Are the Jets getting a new coach next year? |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AA Toronto Ice Dogs | November 3 2011, 3:49 PM |
Why dont you ask that on the Jets thread |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AA Toronto Ice Dogs | November 3 2011, 4:38 PM |
November 1 2011, 4:22 PM said that the kids were going to the Jets next year to be with a real coach, so I am assuming that the Jets are getting a new coach so that they will have a real one.
Try and keep up with the obvious, dim whit |

Organization ruined nothing.
This team was doomed to fail 2 seasons ago when all the Erindale want to be AA players came to this team. None of those players were AA calibre and they just got worse with 2 season of poor coaching. They tried to recruit playersto make them look good but it did not work out. So KABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM |

Very True. Best kids all went to other teams.
Had Rockin Ricky kept the team it would have folded.
Dinky is actually better than that Dick ,Ricky |

Why??? Your kid would have been the piece of puzzle that would have taken them to the top. No doubt you ended up going to MT or one of the top teams. |
|

On TID. Nobody could overcome the lack of coaching to do anything. Dinky had this team for 2 yrs. with the genius on the sidelines, what did he achieve? |
