If DW is given the team, any kid who wants out of London should be given an automatic release. It is ridiculous that a coach would have control over a team for their entire existance in minor hockey. With ALL the baggage associated with this guy, if the board chooses to overlook the problems again, problems which include political cuts, a player in the most important year of their hockey lives MUST be given the right to make a different team. Please, some sense of fairness and consideration must be given to the players who will not receive a fair shake yet again.

Don't see any of them coming back. JC would be the board's first non-parent choice, but he's coaching his kids. RD doesn't have the time nor the desire. JS doesn't have the desire. BO and LJK had a bad break-up.



Best option would be for RS to stay at Minor Midget next year. Issue with him is that he wants to move up into the Jr. ranks, and he's proven enough that he should get a shot. Just a matter of time until he is gone, but I suspect he is gone soon.

Next best option would be CD to drop down from Major Midget. He built that midget program from nothing, so he has a lot invested in it - I doubt he would want to move. He has talked about "retiring" over the past few years, so who knows how long he will stick around. Hopefully, when he does decide he's done, he can stick around as a coach mentor.

AC - former London Nationals coach
DA - former 1996 AAA coach
DD - DW's current assistant
DB - TPH boss
AF/RC - Pro-Tips bosses

No matter what, the road to the playoffs for LJK gold is through the Chiefs. Both teams have about 7 very good players. It will be the coaches who will win or lose since niether coach plays it's full roster.
The edge goes to the Chiefs in best of five but refs may trump any team.

RS can only mentally and prepare players for the next level IF the right players are selected. Otherwise the players are not not mentally or physically ready or capable of being prepared mentally or physically. If RS can do this without the dark cloud of DW anywhere around or connected, there might be a ljk MM gold team next year. If DW is connected look for repeat no matted WHO coaches folks. Take a hike tiger, no one needs you or your baggage.
