Agree with 10:53. I don't think either Stoney Creek or Brampton can keep up with the speed of Orangeville and Oakville. Oakville had a mediocre season but seems to be on a good roll now. Orangeville's goaltending is suspect but they're very strong offensively. Stoney Creek are big and slow so they have to play a physical game in order to win. Brampton has done well and beaten the teams below them but have a hard time with the stronger teams.Should be some good hockey but would have to take the O-villes if I was a betting man.

I agree, I like the long shot in this case though. Brampton won the season series against both Ovilles but have not beaten stoney creek.

I saw that spreadsheet, but it doesn't appear to be correct. In every hockey playoff or series I have ever been involved with for 40 plus years in minor hockey, whether it was a tournament or play-off, they re- rank the teams based on the positions from the regular season or first round of tournament. ( NHL, OHL, OMHA's, it's all the same ).

The order they finished regular season:
1. Stouffville
2. Peterborough
5. Whitby
6. Barrie

Wouldn't that mean that Stouffville plays Barrie and Peterborough plays Whitby. I have never seen any other situation other than 1st vs. 4th and then 2nd vs. 3rd.

I know that Peterborough doesn't want to play Barrie next round. And they'd love to beat up on Whitby. haha

Weak goaltending? How do you expect to win games if you don't score. 2, 5, 0, 2, goals in each of the games in the Oakville series. Yes, the only game won was the one with 5 goals scored.
