Just make sure you read the budget prior to signing. Practices are not regularly scheduled,, one here one there some are 4 hours at a time, one coach on ice ...They even ask parents to pay for coaches hotel rooms as a donation not part of budget.....be careful

Lack of coaching on this team. In fairness, the guy didn't have a ton to work with, but when the same kudos keep taking selfish penalties and suspensions and are proud of this, the coach has to make them accountable.

Coach picked most of the players from his hockey school and it was up to him to develop these players this year.

I think it is smart to bring up ur kid if he is ready for AAA the talent is better and it's a fact that u only get better when u play with and against better players so I wouldn't necessarily call those dad dreamers or suckers maybe just dads who want their kids to get better. Is that soooo wrong?

Fair enough , BUT , by going to a bottom AAA team they will not get better. These kids will be chasing the puck most of the game and will be done playing by Feb next year. They will still be practising at a AA level with the Reps lineup.

They are better off staying in AA on a good team playing in key situations and most of all winning, oh way almost forgot ...and saving $6000.

What are the coaches fees next season?

Parents fees $10,000 including spring. All other teams pay no more than $4,000 - $6,000. What makes the Reps so expensive? Likely will finish out of playoffs next year, 11th or 12th place and parents will bitch and complain by January.

10k, by the sounds of it is pretty average compared to other teams. Other teams might be a couple grand less but you are on your own for a summer program which with dryland and some privates skating during summer will run you around $3-4k. So if you get a $6000 winter team cost and add your summer program, then you are in that 10k cost. It is a rich man's sport.
