Seen both teams (Dorchester & Tillsonburg Bantams) play this season a few times (not against each other) and would say both team's "#1" goaltenders are at par with each other. Both are solid tenders. As well, both teams have 1 D-man that stands out and imagine each will see a lot of ice in this series. Up front, both teams are strong, but one team seems to have a little more depth. Midland is no walk ! Played against both this teams this year. Tillsonburg is a nice quick team. Midland has more top end talent.

Only team to have played both teams is Collingwood. Saw Midland numerous times with same result and saw Tillsonburg once in Strathroy in a blow out. Pretty tough to guage a team's top end talent in one game especially when the game is never in doubt.

Game 3 was a joke ref called 1 penalty on thorold that wasn't even a penalty...the goalie shot it over the glass and got a delay of game. Thorold played dirty and deserved more than 4 or 5 penalties. More like 15 or so. Hopefully tillsonburg gets some real refs next game!!

From what I saw Dorchester has 2 top end players (1F, 1D) and I believe both were with them in Peewee (1 may have played AAA for a season in Peewee and if so then yes that have added to the team). Dorchester was definitely more of a challenge than Thorold could ever be. But expect Midland to be strong also.

Tillsonburg have played Center Wellington, Woolwich, and Caledon all top A teams very closely. They have played and beat a very good Ayr team(twice International Silver Stick champs), beat B Semifinalist Strathroy twice, tied Listowel B Finalist twice, upset New Hamburg, Caledonia and Dorchester in playdowns. Lost twice in 1goal games to CC Omha champs and league champs Twin Center. Only lost 3 games all year, by a sum of 3 goals, with full lineup. I think they will be ready for Midland.

I am not sure how Tillsonburg can claim successes from playing and beating lower rated teams, B,CC, etc. I don't think this is something I would be bragging about.

Twin Center and Listowel would beat most top rated A teams. Neither would ever lose to Collingwood. I believe the post read lost 3 when they had their full lineup. Saturday will be the tell tale.

Tillsonburg did play a lot of close games against good teams this year, they won some and they lost some. Creating their own luck through hard work and getting hot at the right time is huge this time of year. Midland should be another good test and won't be taken lightly.

Strange game today. Tillsonburg absolutely dominated the first period but Midland weathered the storm. Midland scored off a rebound in the second and took over the game from there. Won 4-0, series tied 2 points each. Resumes in Midland next weekend.

I have seen both series and I would have to say that Midland is better than Dorchester-so rule out any OMHA was already played talk. If one bounce goes different in game 1- Midland is up 2-0 in this series. Tillsonburg played well today in period 1, yet came away with nothing. They better pick it up if they plan on playing at home any more this season

Learn to spell moron. Midland is good team. They have the best line in BB for sure and an underrated defense corps. As far as suspension issue, suspended coaches and players allowed in the arena just can't gather with the players or go in the dressing room.

If tburgs best player had shown up this series would already b over but when a 70 plus goal scorer has no goals in an Omha final and it's going to game 5 that shows how much the rest of the team wants it!!

Tillsonburg wins. Gave up 2 in the third leading 3-0 with 10 to play. Win 4-2 and come back from 2-1 down yet again. OMHA champs for a third time and still just as sweet. Probably sweeter considering the talented teams we beat to win it. Dorchester and Midland both very good teams that probably easily win their league titles. New Hamburg very good just had fewer mistakes and a couple of good bounces. Caledonia always sweet to knock them off. Time to party!!!!
