Quick review of standings shows me:

Seems pretty evenly matched

actually it seems like HH & AA are evenly matched but both are better than TE if you go by their records against each other

It's a small sample size but it's fair to say that no team was dominant against the other two. Expect whatever two end up in 2nd and 3rd to bludgeon each other in the semi-finals. Fun games to watch.

Congrats to Amesbury. VP played a hard game would have been a lot closer but couldnt get a save from their goalie in the second. Still think the Huskies will take the West in th playoffs but nonetheless good luck to all!

Well no, the Panthers didn't lose anything in OT because they were hard pressed to get the puck out of their own end. In the East playoffs the 8th place Hillcrest Canadiens put up a better fight than Vaughan.

Regardless TE lost to VP in the west final in OT plain and simple get over it TE lost TE lost

call me crazy ( i know you will ) but this years TE team looks weaker to me than last year. I understand that VP blew up , but HH still look like the team to beat. TE greatest weakness is in goal, and that is were play offs are won and lost. last year VP won because the goalies were great. HH have the best two goalies that i have seen. HVS, TR and Avs have one good goalie, but not 2 ! If those teams play #1 guy exclusively , this could be intersting. However, this is 'A' hockey , and teams will only go as far as the 'back-up' takes them. Both AA goalies as only average, but not bad.

therefore TE cannot win as they are weak in the most important position. (They also have 2 or 3 primadonna types that dont play 'team-hockey')

HH should win because they have best two goalies...but, coach is a dick, and they lack depth in squad. when push comes to shove, they will play 7 or 8 players on a double shift and will run out of gas. they will win or lose close games cos of goalies.

AA are a solid team that is just a bit better than average in every department. this produces better than average results and got them wins against average teams. Consistency got them to #1, but not against top opposition! this team has no heart when 'down by a couple'. it did not happen often, but this is not a come from behind team. There is no play-off resilience in this group of lunch pail kids. (that is a compliment to work ethic for all you fucktards out there). They will do well but i do not see them winning beyond the first round.

HVS and TR are capable teams but too hot/cold to have any chance going into play-offs. i can see them both possibly winning first round ( TR less likely ) but neither team has the depth to win in semis.

2 of top 3 teams will likely be in final ( wow - shock, horror ) but HVS could be the dark horse team to make the final.

stats show that this league had 6 good teams, 4 average teams and 2 poor ones. the six good teams can beat each other on any given day, and have done so.

should be fun to see what happens.
