97 SCTA - Real Rankings Heading Into SCTA WeekendFebruary 17 2012 at 2:45 PM | Anonymous (no login) |
| Going into a format such as the SCTA weekend, there are bound to be a few upsets. Over the course of the season, teams develop and peak at different times. Going into the SCTA's in the next 2 weeks, here are the real rankings based on the last quarter performance. A few are peaking at the right time and should not be taken lightly:
last 10 games rankings
OR 9-1 still the team to beat and show no signs of letting up
HBD 9-0-1 on a roll
BB 8-2 hitting some speed bumps lately
STA 7-3 gaining momentum with some recent decisive wins
GB 4-4-2 tough schedule last few games showing they cannot compete with the big boys
GS 3-6-1 surprising a few teams lately, could cause an upset
NN 2-7-1 close losses recently but are competing, could cause an upset
BE 2-6-2 continue to struggle and look to be getting weaker with each game
HH 1-8-1 struggled all year - no impact
NFR 1-7-2 cannot score
Going to Sunday
OR and BB
HBD and STA (but Guelph and/or NN could surprise someone) |

don't think Guelph would advance, but they might certainly cause BB or even OR some pain in getting to the final... they are not playing like a last place team right now |

Come on people.....Guelph has 4 wins. If they had 4 wins early , mid or late they are still the same bunch of players. No upset here, thanks for the 2 points. |

I'm betting on at least one upset that weekend maybe even two. |

Count on at least one upset and count on another poor showing by SCTA at OMHA. Another free ride for the ETA. |
