I see that there was a request to remove it. Funny. Throughout the thread, players were identified by team and player number and nothing was removed. Teams were ridiculed and called names and nothing was removed. Parents from specific centers were ridiculed and nothing was done. But once the attention turned to the London parents a request to remove was entered. So I guess we know who is behind all the name calling and other negative posts on the thread!

Funny how the Bandits get accused of sandbagging and using illegal players when they win and then they are labelled as a mediocre A team when they lose.

The Bandits are the first A team to ever win the Alliance A/AA league championship. They won 3 A Tournaments and were finalists in the other two. That is much better than mediocre and they had a near record low total GA.

From day 1 everyone was claiming they would blowup and place bottom half of league, it looks like theyve proved those critics wrong. Win or lose let them enjoy the rest of their season.

Bandits are going to self destruct, they are to high on themselves, Brantford and Kitchener tied all reg season games this year however Brantford beat them at silverstick and in exhibition, so I'm gonna go with 99ers and Sarnia

Brantford?
Wow...at least we now know who is posting all this stuff.
You guys limped in to the finish line with two ties (Strat and Kitch) and finished with a loss to Hamilton.
Then after getting a bye, you lost two games to North (the 9th place team), and the rest were 1 goal games.
Brantford is prime to be plucked by Kitchener.
They are peaking at the right time.
Brantford is done.

Any way you look at it...they should be two great series.
Not a London parent but I pick the Bandits over Sarnia.
Kitchener over Brantford, and then Kitchener over Bandits.
That last one will be a battle royale.

Re: 96 Alliance A/AA

Butt Bandits draw first blood 3-2 and actually a pretty good game to watch with a lot of hits and Sarnia forechecking really well and if the Bandits didnt have their AAA goalie they would have been beat tonight. Bandits did play a good third period butt they lacked discipline and spent a lot of minutes in the sin bin.

I still think the Bandits will self destruct with the pressure on. Sarnia will take them 6 pts to 2 pts. Ship it.

Ex AAA goalie was on the bench tonight, A/AA goalie played well though. As for being undisciplined, penalties were 5 for the Bandits and 4 for Sarnia.... I don't think any were of the "undisciplined" variety, I thought some good hard hockey plays were called for penalties, that normally would have been alright. Just my two cents.

Re: 96 Alliance A/AA

Didnt know i thought you had two AAA goalies that being said the Sarnia forechecking created a lot of miscues and chances that could have changed the game, the bandits move and controlled the game better but seemed to have trouble finishing and i agree a few of the penalties were phantom calls. Sarnia created a lot of 2 on 1 breaks and got robbed more than a few times and the Bandits had a ton of near misses in the 3rd. Game could have gone either way, should be a great series.

Why will this series have played 3 games before Brantford and Kitchener even get started?

The final 4 teams have an interesting record
When you look at all the games they played each other.
Kitchener and Brantford both beat Sarnia and London once.
The rest were ties when they played them.
London has not lost to Sarnia yet, but it is getting tougher for them based on the scores in this series.
Pretty tight group.
I think any of the top three could take this.
Its all great hockey now.

London Bandits are technically an A team, but both the others (Kitchener and Brantford) are technically AA centers and teams. That being said I think it would be a great weekend exhibition to unofficially see how the top A OMHA teams match up against the seeded A/AA Alliance.

Maybe invite the top 2 GTHL A teams also.
