The NOHA does't go any farther north than Hearst. The town will do an excellent job of hosting the OHF's. The town loves hockey and will show strong support.

You can get a Bearskin Airlines flight from Kitchener/Waterloo to Kapuskasing (connecting through Ottawa & Sudbury)...and from there, it's a 90 drive to Hearst. Leave at 7am..arrive in Hearst around 5pm.

not from there but sure wish i was taking my kid for the ohf's. first Hearst is a very nice little town they will make you feel very welcome and make the week most enjoyable for the kids. Each team will probably do a school tour where they go into a class and are introduced and treated like nhl pro's by the kids then the class or classes that the team visits adopts that team and comes to the games with signs yelling and screaming in support it is fantastic to see. Also about 15 to 20 years ago at the height of the lumber industry Hearst had more millionaires per capita than anywhere else in canada. And most important of all it is a french community and the ladies dress and look very good. it will be a great time enjoy it the kids earned it. The only dad that needs to worry is the MT artist his bs will not be tolerated he may go missing. A blessing to the hockey world
