Is this just for GTHL A teams, or are MHL A teams also in it?

Doesn't appear to be the best competitive teams but at least better than the Clancy line-up. It looks like LP is doing pretty good so far. Can the other teams be that bad? Then again, usually the MHL A teams are better than the GTHL A teams.

LP destroyed the eagles in the round robin. Last nights semifinal the eagles had 2 competitive periods but LP was wearing them down. 3rd period was all LP from the first drop of the puck to the final buzzer.

The goals were not individual efforts. Other players worked hard to fight for the puck and set up the play. Team effort.

Smart players play to their strength. For some it is fighting, some skating, some shooting, some are shit disturbers, others are big hitters. Pick one or some of the above and a player will be an impact player. If this guy dives and draws penalties to the point where he is recognized and and talked about in the stands, he must do a damn good job. Like the Darcy Tucker's of the world, the only fans you have are your own, everyone else hates you.

Coaches will allow any behaviour that gains them an advantage, its winning at all cost, winning is everything. Win and everything is forgiven. Thats what are boys are being taught and we parents wouldnt want it any other way.

Hooray. We won. Great effort by TRT. If I were an LP parent or player, boy would I be pissed at the officiating. I was very puzzled by some of the calls against LP and almost felt sorry for them. Almost. Too bad poor reffing could be so influential in the the key game, but hey, you win some and lose some, and we won.

I am a TRT parent, and I am glad that we won, no bones about that, it's just that as a parent I would have been very upset if the ref snuffed out my kid's and his team mates hard work the way that guy did.
