Lots of speculation as to who the coach is I heard SN from the Bandits, AS from Oakridge. Anybody heard any different and has anybody played for either.

My kid played for him couple years ago, he was a very good coach, kids liked him. From what I seen he never over played his kid at all

The sad truth is that EN is a fairly talented kid..... he's too timid for this level of hockey, though. It was apparent in his play last season with Bandits, and it won't be any different this season with LJK. Only difference......he'll see more of his dad. His dad is quite proud to wear the green and gold. Too bad EN doesn't share this same passion. And how will they get out of practice now? And who will be "designated babysitter".

And the Bandits ousted probably two of the best non parent coaches ever because they swore OMG swearing makes the kids grow a set and puts hair on their chests.

I guess I always looked at the AA program as a development team for AAA rather than having a powerhouse to go crush other teams. But you probably are correct in saying that it would make a stronger team.

It would make a stronger team, however if you check the Alliance handbook, only AAA teams are allowed F1 granting. It makes sense, as if 3 kids from Waterloo joined Kitchener, everyone would cty foul and at the A/AA level if West grabbed 3 other kids from somewhere, everyone would cry foul. Check the handbook before you get too excited.

I understand that they cannot come in as an F1 but they come in under the new Residency Passport system to their next available AA center

9:55 agree, St thomas 97's had three NRP's last year. 2 from Lambeth and 1 of them is on the AA tryout list TD for this year.

If the parents are divorced or separated you can easily "move" to another address and accomplish the same as F1s without being a F1. The Bandits 96s did that legally with 3-4 players last season and won themselves a AA Championship. However the Bandit territory is half the city and easy to setup an address. But the LJK would be able to do the same by getting EMC cuts to enrol in at STA with a relatives address under the separation premise and voila.

Its being done at the 96 age this year because EMC doesnt do Midget AAA so all the London FC teams are smoozing the Ex EMC AAA players by offering basement apartments for separated players. The Bandits 96s already have 4 EMC AAAs moved in to build a Super AA team to make a run for the National AA Telus Cup.

They also have 27 LJKs 95s & 96s registered for their fall tryouts and nearly already have Bandit addresses.

So what, it is only a AA championship they are going after and doesn't mean anything in the big picture. This is also Midget level for the super team they are supposedly trying to build. Its not that easy if you move without parents especially an international move. We had player move in samething similar without parents and stay with brother or sponsor or something took from like January till October to get him approved and even at that he could only play in Alliance season games, couldnt participate in any tournaments and had we gone out to the Bantam ohf's he was not allowed to compete in that either. We all agreed it was certainly a waste of a players card

He may need the "imports" as he only has a hand full of players on his list that would be considered the top kids on their own FC teams let alone trying to put together a competitive AA program.

latest on SN's kid. He is trying out with Chatham AAA team and they are playing lambton AAA team tonight. If he doesn't make Chatham he wants to tryout for Lambton AAA team. He's not going to make any AAA team....just needs to stay in London with dad.

SN's double team is taking shape to be a great team with a lot of great kids to pick a team from, most with no baggage as well.

I think the only concern is that this team may have to look for another coach. I mean how can SN be in two places at once and who can blame the man for wanting to be where his kid is. Personally EN would be good for the AA team, but wish him the best regardless.

Driving to Chatham and even mooretown for practices etc and coaching the AA team sounds impossible but who knows. Let's wait and see what happens because everyone knows the MM year is unpredictable at best.

After the 7 F1's made the Green team, there will be a lot of questions if non London kids make the AA team.

According to the Alliance handbook,and from OMHA rule 3.5 "A" teams are "AA" teams within the Alliance and only players from nearby centres that do not have A or AA can be allowed to try out. A/AA cannot try out for another A/AA centre unless they have been cut from their A/AA home centre. BB can try out in nearby A/AA centres. NRP (non resident players) are permitted in this case up to 3 per team.

Not all of the imports listed have "A" centres. The process is pretty simple you cannot get a "passport" to tryout if you are not eligible to tryout. Alliance/OMHA won't approve the passport if you do not come from a qualifying centre.

If the LJK AA team takes F1s and AAA cuts who were cut due to too many AAA F1s then a good argument could be made to relegate the LJK AA team to AAA status or have them banished from the A/AA league and/or Tournaments. It's called CHEATING.

All surrounding centres are members of the omha and the only A centre is st thomas,most are B, BB, C etc. So first off they would need to be cut by their zone AAA team(not ljk) and then i believe their is an omha rule stating that players can tryout for the closest A/AA centre before they tryout for their home centre. That is what allowed the Jr stars to have 3 NRP's last year. 2 from lambeth and 1 from belmont who both are B or C centres.

I would first cut the kids that fell down durnig the drills. That will give them something to start with. Then cut the guys in the game that passed to the other team. Now we have 20 left so that would be a good start.......you have AE kids out with a few that should have made green. trim it to 20 kids and lets see who can go tape to tape.

I have wondered the same thing. The kid has a shot like a cannon. He also would bring a lot of grit to the team.

GP is a great kid, hard to motivate for every shift. He is busy with many things and doesn't want to live the dream.
