The good news is that it really is only a small number of people writing this crap - the majority of parents on both teams just want their boys to have fun and play competitive hockey, and the parents get along with each other. As a parent of a kid who had no interest in trying out for AA, I think it is clear we made the right choice. Stick by your guy i guess as you have no other options now. To the parents of the kids on the bubble, prepare your kids to get let go as kids are brought in late in the process. Unfair but expected.

AE cant continue if AA folds. There must be a AA team. If a few kids leave the remaining players are still on the team. Not sure why everyone thinks that if a few players leave the whole team will run away. So those that leave would be replaced by AE players or minor AA players. The problem is that there are only a couple kids on the AE team that can play at a AA level. So those kids would move to fill the holes and the remainder would drop to HL.

2:49. The only reason the coach and AE parents watched the game was because they were at the rink trying to get their roster in. When they were walking out someone yelled to them that there was a select game on rink B so they went to see. Once they realized it was AA they left.

If that's true, then save your energies for your own team amd leave the AA's to themselves - it must absolutely irk some of the AE parents that the AA players and parents are actually having a good time. While it is probably only a couple of AE malcontents stirring the pot, unfortunately it taints the entire bunch and it must be embarassing for majority of them.

Considering we have a shortened bench, we are doing ok. The boys are playing exceptionally well and the dressing room is a positive one. To all the parents that support us, a huge "Thank you!" AA will most likely win Tri-counties as the only two good teams will leave the loop and the AEs will either lose to a team like orangeville who is pretty much AA or emerge omha champs. If right coach is put in AA next year the AAs will be able to compete with Brampton and Georgetown.

Don't start your big plans on a AA coaching change next year - we (and I mean the majority of the parents & players) are liking what they see so far with the coach we have right now

AA needs a solid assistant coach. No matter what age and level, coaches can't take the favouritism out of coaching when it comes to their own kid. A good assistant could point out a lot of obvious things the coach is not seeing.
