Unfortunately I have to agree BS to all of this at this point. Nothing will be determined about this until the August Alliance meeting.
Also if and when it happens my guess is you would need a dman and a goalie not a forward (LM). We are also assuming that the Brantford kids would be the ones in the line right now given the multitude of zones they would have to cross, but who knows.

Do the Brantford parents really think it is appropriate to travel to London to play their minor midget year on a second tier team, dashing the hopes of the local kids who have stuck it out down here? Is that fair to all, or are they just that uncaring idiots who will stop at nothing to keep their kids on the ice? (sort of like cheating in high school sports, right DM?)

There is a reason the OHF put adjacent zones on the back of home center F1s .... The reason was to prevent a players from riding F1s across Ontario. That is why all others last year at the 96 age all MOVED via school or divorces. Its the only way to bypass the adjacent zone F1 rule.

CM & BJ currently declared ineligible...pending OHF/Alliance review.

SR could be suspended for 1 year IF he is found to have been tampering to get the 2 illegal players.

Also accepting illegal F1 forms could get him some heat. Most likely the centers between Brant and London would be at fault also for issuing F1s to ineligable players. LJK BOD may get fined because the LJK was involved with the original F1 riding event years ago that caused the OHF to specify adjacent zones for F1s.

Or if it was all conspired by the parent ... The kids could get 1 yr suspensions and end up only play highschool hockey.

If the LJK rejects the F1s before the season begins then nonbody would be at fault of anything and the 2 illegal players would have to return to their home centers.

Still find it hard to believe that these families want to travel this distance to be part of, for lack of a better term, a Tier 2 AAA team. Either very dedicated or stupid?

But if they accept your money than you have established a legal contract. Nobody filed a formal complaint from what i hear. Heard that opposing teams are to wait and file appeals mid season to negate ALL Green's wins due to illegal F1s. That makes more sense since nobody from the LJK wanted to be singled/black listed out for filing a complaint

Alliance doesn't 'approve' F1s ... so you are full of shit Brantford daddy. Your center issues F1s and adjacent centers either accept or refuse them.

The Alliance approves 'moves' whether it be a divorce or for work. The Alliance or OHF will have only ruled upon the illegal F1s (and yes 2 are illegal) if someone from the LJK filed a motion/appeal with them. This is highly unlikely because anyone from the LJK who appeals will be outed and black listed within the LJK forever.


What will happen is either in a tournament or during the season an opposing team looking to advance by gaining some wins via LJK negated wins. This will eventually happen especially with opposing teams having nothing to lose. And there is no restriction on when this happens, but it will.

You can get multiple releases to go through multiple centers. A Windsor player can go all the way to Hamilton with all the right releases... and there are even two different ways for that player to get there (up through Huron Perth, or down through Brantford)

You used to be able to ride multiple F1s but the OHF changed it to adjacent centers as stated on the back of the F1 from your home center. If you turn over the F1 youll see them listed.

Which is why players must relocate to get through multiple centers. Those are facts and the egg will be on green when the hammer falls.

Look up the history of why the OHF implemented the F1 adjacent zone rule and you will find 5 years ago 2 London area players tried riding F1s all the way to the GTHL .. The OHF in agreement with the Alliance , OMHA and GTHL added adjacent center rules to the backside of F1 forms.

Relocating is the ONLY way to legally bypass this rule and is the reason there has been an influx of fake separations in the few years. Just wait until a team files a complaint and you will find out the hard way... Just like the kid who had to sit for a year in Niagara region last year.

Mistakes made by non home centers issuing F1s wont hold up when the OHF lays down the hammer when a team protests.

Im from another Alliance team and if we cross green's path in any Tournament we will certainly look into any possible illegal use of players with the OHF. I am not to certain a OHF ruling could be had during a Tournament, but we will look into it if the need arises.

There were definitley alot of players that are far better then half the f1s that were picked for green. The G from B is not even close to some of the good goalies that were cut also suspect 2 d one of them a LFD kid and at least 2 forwards

Let's get back to the 1st thread about this team and give credit where credit is due.

Once again, I (and a number of other LJK parents) would like to thank SR for his brilliant team selection. In particular the F1's (7 of them). These selections allowed some former LJK players the opportunity to travel and explore the world (Chatham) as well as let others have an opportunity to play AA to strengthen the LJK AA entry. At the same time, it has helped some reflect on their hockey careers and make some decisions (former LJK goaltenders quitting).

So once again thanks SR for rewarding these families with some new experiences and for showing them that when trying out for a competitve sport you don't always have to show up for tryouts.

Enjoy the season, folks.

The fact that the coach took a couple questionable kids based on talent should have been a sign that the team was likely going to have a few more issues. There are a bunch of talented kids on the team, however a team has to bond and not have players thinking they are better than others and the coach has to change his attitude, if he can.

The moment they hired this coach they knew what would happen. Then the other firemen filled his inexperienced head with who to take and presto, we have 7 F1s, couple problem kids n parents sent to HP and Chatham and now the few problem parents left will hopefully keep mouths shut all year. It is a good thing. No more stress between the Green Gold. Just maybe both teams will do well.

What do you expect it is a Canlan Tournament which is just a money maker for the owner and thats it, good chance the teams are not even AAA. We went to one years ago in the States from Canlan got all the way a and played one AAA team and the rest were highschool hockey and AA. That said we won the finals 12-1, no competition for the weekend at all. Although Indy itself was a blast for the parents and thats it.

It is a AA tournament and no scouts will be there have fun. We are not in any well scouted tournaments this is really a joke should have got my kid an F1 and left this shit organization

Managed to catch some of the AA game before our HPL game last Saturday. Picked out 1 F and 1 D on AA that could easily make our team better....

What happened greenies you were talking a month ago that all the changes made the team stronger NOT. You can not pick 4 or 5 A players to play AAA hockey in Minor midget and make your team stronger, Unfortuanatley you lost your best skilled players and replaced them with A players and a coach that knows diddly squat. This team will have lots of problems this year and 1 big problem you have no goal scorers maybe 1 or 2 but that is a bout it. Have a fun year at the bottom of the division

Well if we had a real coach, yes. Gold is not special and will have a difficult time winning any game. But with a loser parent like the above I am sure your son's attitude is the same.
Tip, for coach don't leave JW alone. I know it's hard because he does nothing yes boring but he gets open net goals because everyone gets bored of covering him.
He is the best at boring you and he is a master at blending in with the blue line.
He will score if left alone guaranteed.

96's beat gold 2 years ago before they loaded up on chiefs. Anything is possible. Could they win a 8 point series, no but the one offs are possible.

Did anybody on this team's management pass the Fort Wayne Pre-Season Blast by you to see if the team approved? Really? Saturday and Sunday only. Four game maximum....four game minimum for that matter. 3 game round robin? Ooooo...wow, and only a 6 hour drive. That should be a "Blast"!!!
