Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | August 12 2012, 2:30 PM |
It's because all the other 97 teams except the Gnats will be busy in the Titans MM tourney. Maybe GC should set up a couple games with PG, plus a Q an A to talk about why their kids aren't getting seen at one of the most important tourneys of the year, that big first look. |

radiers and cow pretty even teams. its should of been 3-3. refs took the game away from ajax. but hey its only exhibition. but both teams played good hockey |

Ya, it's always the refs fault... |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | August 19 2012, 9:53 AM |
Judging from last nights game...COW is not as good as they have claimed to be over the summer..brutal comes to mind and the raiders, well thet are and always will be a last place team... |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | August 19 2012, 11:25 AM |
i thought both teams played pretty well. both fast and have goals scorers. raiders made some mistakes that cost them goals. not to mention the refs were horrible. cow needs to work on their defense and goal tending. that is what ex game are for. look at what you have and work on the weaknesses. overall a good game. |
|

no one came on here boasting about winning the canlan tourney pure fabrication. of course first its was a AA torney, then someone said single a now its AE? Whats next, house league. you guys just like putting people down it makes you feel better doesnt it? pathetic |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | August 22 2012, 8:04 PM |

I guess all those posters who bitched about the tryouts and No exhibition games to see talent were right.

what happened to Halton? I thought they were supposed to be great, was the super star in net? |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | August 23 2012, 10:16 AM |
Halton will be a 500 team at best. Coached picked some kids just because they were coming back from the G.
Coaches passed on a few kids that could have helped this team to make room for a few G kids who's best years have passed them by in Peewee.
This team had one forward and one D spot open at tryouts. Some of the G kids didn't show well in ex games but still made the cut. This will be a long season for the Canes. |

No, that's what happens when the organization is Halton, and they give the team to a couple of kids just out of their teens. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | August 23 2012, 10:29 AM |
no there's a couple of returning players parents that are in full control along with friend board memebers |

In control because the young coaches do not command respect. Not their fault really, but it's just that they have not earned it yet.
So who's going to get the late cut notice if AR is finally forced to sign? |

All the JRC kids that came are big let downs. Goalie should be in AA, D is a bottom AAA player and very close to AA. One F is a 3rd liner and the other should be playing single A. Nice package RR! |

|
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | August 23 2012, 3:21 PM |
NN's defense was horrible, the offense was non-existant. They should be pounding the pavement looking for help ASAP or this year will be a waste for kids.

Cast off From HBD and STA looked awful, small, heavy and poor footwork...Hes gonna struggle all year keeping up to the speed.OR players will eat this kid alive down low.If you cant keep up to NFR players how you gonna protect your end against top players?
Long year........... |

5:25 Thats a straight up lie my friend! The OR team has not played a single game game thus far so you should be banned from posting on N54! You are a dickwad trying to stir up shit about a team that hasnt even played yet! When they play a game, trust me, you'll hear about it as will every other hater thats praying the team will lose! Which they wont! So, too bad for you and nice try. And for anyone reading the dickwads post that the OR team has lost to the Regals..its a complete bullshit lie!! |

And if it's Regals parent that started that, I can assure you your asses will be handed to you on a silver tray when they do finally play you! |

titans vs oakville
3-0 oakville
two decent teams. oakville had the most puck possession. both team did not allow any great shots ex one of the oakville. goals. other was a little soft on titans tender and one empty net. oakville defense was the high point. very good.
all in all a good game. |

No one cares about your player eligibility OV. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | September 1 2012, 8:16 AM |
I was at the game. Very close contest. Early on the TT had all the scoring chances. Some really weak and biased penalty calls against the TT gave O a lot of power play time but they didn't generate any real chances.
The officiating was clearly biased in O favour which didn't allow TT to get rolling.
It was a tight contest with both teams getting their chances. TT dominated the last period with a ton of sloppy play by O in their own end but some unlucky bounces kept TT off the score sheet.
TT where robbed of a goal that was clearly in but the officials where way out of position, otherwise it would have been 2-1 with 7 minutes to go.
It was a bad bounce that allowed for the cheap empty netter.
TT goalie looked really good.
O for all the hype didn't.
If the refs had been better and not so biased this could easily have been the TT game.
From what I saw TT are in for a good year, O for all the talk about how good they are supposed to be ... if that was what they have to bring this year then they are going to be a disappointment. Unless O has the refs on their side all year long they aren't going to challenge the other top teams. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | September 1 2012, 8:19 AM |
Give it up tt dad with your biased sportscasting. Your team couldn't beat OV and were not expected to. Get over it. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | September 1 2012, 8:40 AM |
When was a TT goal waved off??. The only good goal that was waved off was the one OR scored. In before the player slid into net and TT defender caused pile up. First of two soft goals on TT goalie. TT calls all good with one call a rough when the player would have been tossed for a game in season for a hit from behind. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: 97AAA exhibition games | September 1 2012, 9:14 AM |
"I was at the game. Very close contest. Early on the TT had all the scoring chances. Some really weak and biased penalty calls against the TT gave O a lot of power play time but they didn't generate any real chances."
Accurate. I expected more there.
"The officiating was clearly biased in O favour which didn't allow TT to get rolling".
Nothing bias. Three PP for Oakville (Oakville had four PP, TT had one, net three for Oakville) in the game does not exactly turn the tables on TT. 20-20-20 gave you plenty of time to "get rolling"
"It was a tight contest with both teams getting their chances. TT dominated the last period with a ton of sloppy play by O in their own end but some unlucky bounces kept TT off the score sheet."
A good game but Oakville dominated the puck possession. TT "dominating" the last period is a little story telling but they did come on a few times.
"TT where robbed of a goal that was clearly in but the officials where way out of position, otherwise it would have been 2-1 with 7 minutes to go"
Maybe. Could not see at that end. This just counters the goal that Oakville did score that was waved off. Ref way out of position and from the upper glass the puck was in the net well before the Oakville player made contact with the Titans goal tender. Good goal.
"It was a bad bounce that allowed for the cheap empty netter"
So what.
"TT goalie looked really good"
Looked ok. Allowed two goals that should have been stopped. The wave off and the sloppy one. The second goal one timer from the slot was just a good goal by Oakville.
"O for all the hype didn't."
Didn't what? Score enough? Defend well enough?
"If the refs had been better and not so biased this could easily have been the TT game"
If the refs had been better the outcome would have been the same. It was three nothing. Not 1 nothing.
"From what I saw TT are in for a good year, O for all the talk about how good they are supposed to be ... if that was what they have to bring this year then they are going to be a disappointment. Unless O has the refs on their side all year long they aren't going to challenge the other top teams"
I agree that the Titans have a good team and will be in the mix. Small in a few placed but a really decent team. Oakville was great on the back end. They have a lot of skill at forward. A great mix of speed, size and shooting ability. They'll need to figure out how to get them clicking and this team should do well.
