Last minute cases will be reviewed here. It's fine for anyone EXCEPT those interested in being preserved themsevles... it appears to me... to be a last minute case. Jerry Lemler once told me last minute cases are very lucrative. I wonder why.

Alcor.org site search on "last minute case" -- 20 hits

http://www.google.com/search?num=50&hl=en&safe=off&q=%22last+minute+case%22+site%3Awww.alcor.org&btnG=Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

Here's a straightforward last minute case...

Here's a last minute case with a waiver of the "last minute case fee"
http://www.alcor.org/printable.cgi?fname=Library%2Fhtml%2FcasereportA2404.htm

I'm not sure when the last minute "case fee" started... but in this case there is a reference to "pre funding"...

quote
On Jan 15th, 2009 we received the Alcor contracts from the son and the wire transfer of the cryopreservation funding was received on Feb 5th, 2009. This later date is significant as we were not able to complete any actions that incurred expenditures since pre-funding arrangements had not been established prior to death.

This makes it appear to me that there is a possibility of creating a PRE-FUND situation with Alcor for a PRE-ARRANGED "last minute" situation... which is the idea behind PALM cryonics.
