This is all done on names isn't it, Fabregas in particular has been largely shit or injured during 2011. It's a joke that he's on the list.

I always find the lack of defenders annoying. The Barca love-in too.

nah, and benzema had an average season too

it's a bit of a farce

....if it was worth anything- players like scott parker (being serious here- not for his time at spurs) would be on the list ahead of rooney and nani- player of the year, but playing for an unfashionable club and in an unfashionable position. I don't suppose claude makelele ever made the shortlist either

Abidal, Cesc and Benzema are the only debatable ones imo

well apart from Neymar as I haven't seen much of him at all

Van Persie an Cavani should have perhaps been included
