I'm game. Got Barnet away on the Saturday so can do the Friday, or Saturday after the match. Failing that, weekend of the 8th?

Shots away for me that day, but I'll be there when I get back into town from that. I'll bring you a scarf for the season, Jay.

But there's a 50% chance of "bottling it" on the rattle-forecast due to a lady.

if you can't manage to stick to a drink-up 5 weeks in advance, due to possible involvement with a lady, there's no hope for you jim.

It's bad form, I know. But new lady currently resides in Birmingham so the general idea is to spend weekends together.

If she's down in London then yeah I'd bring her along on the condition that you lot make me look good by laughing at all my jokes and recollecting heroic stories eg that time I rescued those children from the burning orphanage etc.

Poet is looking like the venue of choice.
Reckon we could have a big old turnout so might be an idea if a couple of us get down a bit earlier to bag a prime table.
