We had a fantastic day today. The wind was tolarable, there was NO RAIN, the sun was out and we had ourselves a great time.
Five shooters attended with 2 Air Arms ALFAs, 1 IZH-46M, 1 CROSMAN 1710P and a CROSMAN 1377.
Everyone was claiming un-explainable pellets "With minds of their own" but the scores were all very good with
a possible 600/60X except for the "X" count which was really down for all of us.
Pistol Bench Rest sees quite a few "10s", BUT just does not want to give up those "Xs".
Ron has a new "PROTOTYPE" under construction (see photo). He has attached a Home Depot Tolit Snake housing
that holds one tin of pellets and feeds them through a tube into his ALFA. He claims that once it's perfected he
wants to build a air reservoir that will let him shoot 500 pellets without having to get up from his shooting bench.
More to come!!!
Ron has won the last two matches, but today I think he had a feeding problem........'cause he came in third.
JD changed scopes on his ALFA (had to blame his recent poor performances on something) and took First Place today.
Dave came in second with the only "IZZY" seen lately.
Jim was very quiet today and I think that's because some guy named "Arther Itus" has been giving him a hard time.
John was......................................................................John!
Speaking of...........................he won the poker shoot AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This time with a pair of Queens.
If I didn't post the targets myself, I'd say he had some "Inside Information" Congrats, John!!!
Dave protested saying that he had a "Full House".........."Spades over Hearts"..............so we added 54 and divided by
5 and used the square root of 16 and.............wait a minute.........."Spades over Hearts"........
John won with a pair of Queens and got his entry fee returned.
After the match we got the "Action Pistols" out and shot "One on One" challenges.
I don't remember who won, but I know I got elimated very quickly.
The Winner was either Jim, Dave or John.
Chow time fueled us with fresh baked fish (from Rons private freezer), Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw and Dinner Rolls.
Thanks Judy and Thanks Ron.
