The racing industry is continually raising the bar with each new year. New record speed and performance numbers are being set almost on a weekly basis. With this progression it is important for racers to have resources that will pass on new technology and processes to them. Keith Engling, with Skinny Kid Race Cars, has always stayed true to the Motorcity. Their shop located in Commerce, MI is a staple of the states, hard work pays off mentality.

SKRC opened its doors in 1997 and has never looked back since. They pride themselves on keeping to the promise that only the best products and services will head out the door. Wither it’s a full custom chassis or off the shelf parts. In-house engineering and processes coupled with using local MI based support has made it possible for SKRC to keep their prices competitive. Even though many would pay more for the quality of work received.

Another passion of SKRC is that of pushing the limits of the industry with their parts and knowledge. Their blown Hurst Olds can be seen at our Friday Night Aeroquip Heads Up Series. They have been racing here since the beginning with many wins and records over the years. With an open pit and warm personality SKRC is always welcome to discuss ways to improve any applications. On many occasions work will stop on their car in order to help out a stranded racer. This is why MI can be proud to call SKRC one of its own.

When looking for professional MI based support think no further than Skinny Kid Race Cars. Using MI manpower and resources to drive each customer to new levels of performance. Their shop is welcome to all applications and willing to do anything to help you achieve your goals. Give them a call today and start getting those win lights.
