I Remember when we were carving at Gary Pattersons place and we started his loader & you said you've never operated one,now you is a operator...happy.gif Funny how somthin' like that sticks in your mind and you forget damned near everything else...lol

Jeff ol Boy, New Holland (ford) is the favorite for me, from all the other makes. The wheel base between hubs is wider, no bobbing and rocking, runs around like a go cart. The heel/bottom rear, of the bucket should reach the ground, as New Hollands do best. You'd think other brands do to, but most don't. Never buy taller tires for that reason
I seen the pic and was jealous for a moment. But I'm ok now. happy.gif

We use log tongs alot. You got any? A cable choker has it's benefits too.

I think a must have for a successful biz. is a Skid steer and a 5hp hydraulic unit. Working out in the cold and hulking wood around sucks. If you make smaller works like Rego does that's a different deal. I wish there was a really good electric it would be easier for folks to get in doors.
