Welcome a good friend back

I'm sure most of you didn't know our good friend and fellow carver Art Boatwright just had Heart surgery. One new valve and one bypass.
All is well he says but will take some time to recover.
Lets give him a big welcome home. He not only put is life on the line so we can be free to do what we do, he is a hell of a good guy and carver.

Get better buddy, I hope to see yah soon.

its common now for that its like getting a major tune up

art will lose his sense of taste for awhile and have pump head so he should not be making decisions for a couple of months its a side effect of the machine that keeps you alive during operation . a friend of mine had the valve and bypass surgery at 71 he felt so good after he was trying to date a 20 year old gal the bad part it was his therapy patient needless to say he was fired . art will need to get his carotid arteries checked he might have plaque build up in them

Thanks guys,it's quite a experience but seems to get better by the day.Can't pic up a saw for two months but I think I have one more round left. I t ain't over 'til Backus sings happy.gif
