Response to Re: How accurate is the Bible?

Point 1: If we assume Genesis is meant to be true, it is either meant to be literally true or it is meant to be figuratively true - there are no other choices.

Point 2: When Gen.1:1 is meant to be literally true, then, given what it poses and how it does so, it is both invalid and unsound.

Point 3: When Gen.1:1 is meant to be figuratively true, then it could mean lots of things, one thing it most certainly means is that it's not literally true.

Now what?

So ... if sticking to points made is being preferred.......

rejected and denied by many, accepted and embraced by few : incontrovertibility
- it is not what we (think we) know that matters, it is what we can show true that does
as the maxim demands; truth is demonstrably fact and fact is demonstrably true
everything else ... mere BS -

CD: short for inevitability
