GREAT, congratulation to the first previewpost, I hope many posts will follow, and I hope many post will be as good as this one, the sentry gun looks really really GREAT !!!
With TF2 a new age of modeling will begin, much more details than in other games like Half-Life will be possib, well keep going on posting pictures

Great, it looks exactly like the TFC L2 sentry, with a new paint job.

I Think I might have to give TF2 modeling a go...

If you ask me it could do with a paint job its rusty on the outside.
bullets would get jammed in the barrel because its so rusty.
AND it wouldnt be able to rotate up and down because of.........(you guessed it RUST)
O.k ill leave the rust alone great model though @:-)

Just like the subject says... what program was used to make that preview pic? Was it LightStudios, Softimage, what? Please answer to any and all programs used to do that model... reason being is that I am trying to get my hands on some of those programs so I could start learning how to use them and start modeling and animating so I can start a career move to that realm of the computer industry. If you want to learn how to model download Milkshape (Chumablumsoft at the Linksection) and check the tutorials at http://www.planethalflife.com/coldfusion there are very good tutorials but in some time you'll find tutorials how to model here too

well back to the sentry gun, I've received a mail, where it was mentioned that the sentry gun maybe was made by valve, does anybody have further informatio aubout that ? the model really looks like valve-quality-work !!!
