I am sure you are happy at Valley View.
It is true we don't have such great schools in Wau any more which is exactly the point I am trying to make.A bigger community would give us a voice for better services as we had them before.
My daughter lived at Valley View, then Awilunga( which is where the MMJV employees live now), a couple of years ago and during the time she lived there she was shot at 3 times driving in to work.Wait until it happens to you.I also lived for a long time at our home at 6 mile and you wouldn't want to know the things that have happened to my family while we lived there.I hope they never happen to you.I was happy to go back to live in Wau where we have only had one car stolen in over 20 years and that was because it had a tv and a video on the back seat.
Sam Basil has lived at 16 mile for many years, long before politics, but some of his immediate family live happily in Wau.
The point is that the mining community should be living and working in the mining area.Lots of my expatriate friends love the idea of flying-in and flying out and my national friends love driving in and driving out.I stand back and observe that it destroys their family lives.
