Good luck to you finding someone who "gives to the people" and does not expect something back. Name one person in Madang who does this and qualifies (in your words) to be the leader of Madang.
My point is; all provinces need good leaders, leaders who aren't so poor that when they become MPs and find themselves suddenly rich, they drink every day and sit in pokies lounges.
Leaders who do not have a car now and have 3 or 4 when they are MPs.
Leaders with little or no appreciation of what is required for them to perform the job.
Madang (and all provinces) needs a leader who is visionary but practical. A leader who understands the systems and processes and where need be, can make decisions to improve those processes and systems to move the province forward. In addition, that leader must be of some means so that he does not compromise himself by trying to benefit from the position that he holds.
