‘New Maprik MP is bossy’
OUSTED Maprik MP Gabriel Kapris is claiming that the new MP-elect John Simon is using Parliament letterhead to issue instructions to the district public servants without even being sworn into office as an MP.
He also alleged that Mr Simon has called for a joint district planning and budget priority meeting (JDP&BPC) which is illegal as Mr Kapris is still a member of parliament until the writs are returned on July 27.
“There has not been any swearing in of newly elected MP’s but he has issued instructions using a Parliament Letterhead advising council presidents for a JDP and BPC meeting.” Mr Kapris said.
Mr Kapris claimed the new member-elect has also used the same letterhead giving instructions for the removal of the Maprik Police Station Commander and that heads will roll for district public servants who do not adhere to his instructions.“The people expect a leader who can serve them and not rule by iron-fist.” He said the public servants and district management are guided by the Organic Law, Public Service Management Act and the Public Finance (Management) Act.
“The electorate of Maprik is not Mr Simon’s private business.”
Mr Kapris called on the Police Commissioner Tom Kulunga to intervene that no politician can interfere, or direct the movement from police stations throughout the country. “The people are scared. The public servants are scared. I believe he wants to rule as a dictator.”
Mr Kapris said this when announcing the receipt of K30 000 contribution from the people of Maprik to challenge the election result in the Court of Disputed Returns.“This is not a free, fair and safe election and we have enough evidence to challenge the election results in the Courts of Disputed Returns.” He said the people of Maprik have chipped in K2 each to raised over K30,000 for legal fees to challenge the outcome of the Maprik election result.
The K30,000 was handed to former sitting MP Gabriel Kapris yesterday , three days after the declaration of results for the Maprik Open Seat in East Sepik. Businessman John Simon was elected unseating Mr Kapris.
Mr Kapris said yesterday that he has been asked by both his people and some of the candidates to challenge the election results.

Accept defeat Kapris. Week leader riding on Somare's back. The wages of betrayal.

Kapris betrayed Somare and took sides with Peter O'Neil. He did nto remain loyal to Somare regardless of all the issues that Chief went through.
Somare must be respected, he was choosen by GOD to take PNG into prosperity and we are in that time now for him to hand over that leadership. Study the ways of the Indian Chiefs - they hand over leadership when it is due - that time is now and only GOD knows who he has earmarked.
His own party members from PAP all did not make it back as well. With all the criticisims, I would still salute Kapris and say, He was one of the best members who changed Maprik regardless of the highly educated scorning him on failed projects on the casino etc through the media that tarnished his name. He was indeed a great visionary leader who designed and taught up projects and made them become reality. The people of Maprik and even entire Sepik have spoken highly of this man. He should rest now and focus on family now.

Somare was chosen by God?
Oh what nonsense. No wonder the world laughs at us.
Get with the civilised way of thinking, mate!

Kapris never single handedly build Maprik. It was a combined effort from Aimo, Asik, and Somare. He was lucky to ride on structures earlier esablised by the colonial adminisation. Maprik grew our of Dreikikir, Wosera, Gawi, Ambunti West Yangoru, Nuku and Lumi. So do not claim that Kapris build Maprik you fool!

If great man of GOD had prophesised over Grand Chief "As he will lead this nation until it prospers" and if you understand times and seasons of how leadership entails nations rule and regime you would understand.
The world laughs because they do not have any reverence for GOD. They follow the systems of this world and are shaken when their ecomony is affected for they trust in the systems they set up. We PNGneans do not trust systems but are focussed on our GOD, the GOD of Israel and PNG.
I ask you this simple question. You can laugh but ask yourself why has all sittin East Sepik Members did not make it back except Grand Chief. This is his last time and he must bow out with respect and dignity and will surely hand over the leadership2 someone GOD has earmarked.
PNG has been set aside for a role it will play in the end time prophesy with all its wealth stored in our land.

If Somare was chosen by God, God must be really cruel because in 44 years Somare was the leader of the Sepik people, the following has happened in East Sepik:
20 years ago, about 100 sepik children made it to university each year, today only 6 go to university from Sepik,
20 years ago, children in remote schools get school materials, today, there are no materials.
20 years ago, sepik had a great hospital, today, half the hospital has fallen over, sepiks now go to Madang for medical treatment.
When South Sea Tuna started operating, 10% of the shares was supposed to go the people of Sepik, guess who owns those shares? Yes, your god chosen leader. Those shares were paid for from Sepik Tresury.
I could go no, but then that would make God a really bad judge of character and I dont want to do that. god must be blind to choose this man to develop East Sepik and PNG.
