You have no concept of how tourists make decisions on where to go. The biggest piece of the tourism pie goes wherever it's cheapest, the most convenient, and the most facilities.
Lorengau is a generation away from providing any of that.
Actually, why would any overseas tourist come to PNG (our traditional culture has become coca cola culture) when they can see more genuine culture in parts of Indonesia. Why would they come to PNG to see forests or reefs when they can see pretty much the same stuff in a lot more comfort and for a lot less money going to Cairns.
If you don't understand how tourism works, you're bound to recommend disasters.
Once again it's the same ol PNG problem. We read a few articles or spend a few hours thinking about something and reckon that makes us an expert.
