As a countryman to Wartoto, I beg you pngscapers to leave this guy alone. He is champion who has attempted the impossible by building up an airline company which none of us would ever attempt in our lifetime. Rather than see foreigners take all the major business corporations in the land, Wartoto has come up with something terrific....an alternative to the ever-expensive Air Niugini fares.
On that note, I don't condone his actions in receiving the funds from the government but we should look at ways on how to recover the money instead of trying to crucify him. There are many others who have siphoned money from the government coffer illegally without being accountable. So give Wartoto a time frame for him to pay back whatever is owed to the PNG government. At the moment, he is serving our people well and mind you, his services are world-class compared to Air Nuigini. Soon he'll be able to reach other PNG centres so long as we make use of Mangi Long Ples.
