Kaputin-hot favourite for ENB Governor

March 29 2012 at 8:35 PM
GToeleg

Hot word around town is that JKaputin is the hot favourite for ENB Governor, or wherever he decides to stand. I mean the guy has widespread experience so why not. Dion has done little wrong, but I guess experience counts.

Maybe not, Kaputin maybe well past his use by date; similar to some of our current reps....maybe good, maybe bad...age may be the determining factor

Another of the recycle MPs. As good as he was then and Maybe still Why cant he be something else. I mean he had his turn. I dont know but I'm sick and tired of former MPs trying to stand for election again. They should be well off now with all the money they save during thier term as MPs.
Mi les pinis long displa pasin.

Recycle MP's are bad material

March 31 2012, 11:35 AM

We need change now. Old MP's should give way to up and coming young vibrant leaders. Old MP's should play the role of mentors. A true leader is known by how well he grooms up and coming leaders. Sinai Brown is old. Sir Jihn Kaputin is old. Come on guys. You won't be here forever. Groom new leaders. Let new young leaders contest.

Kaputin was always doing side businesses, hardly even lived in PNG for his last term. He's giaman when he says he cares for PNG, he cares much more for overseas comfort living.

Ol LAPUN have made a fortune during their in Parliament. Now let others go and get their share of wealth. That's politics PNG - after 9/10 parlimentary elections the ONLY change I see is the amassing of wealth by the pollies, their families and cronies.

PNG has gone back wards since colonial rule. Schools, colleges, Hospitals, Health Centers, Aid Posts, Police barracks, PNGDF barracks, Teachers houses, government offices ........ have all deteriorated to non existence.

CORRUPTION has become the norm ... all 90% of the current sitting members have some allegation of corruption .... and how many have ended up in Bomana?

Thats the political landscape for PNG. GET rid of the old ones and put in new ones for a chance to become millionaires and purchase properties in Cairns - EM YUMI YAH.

Levi Orong is a CON!!!!

what is his proffessional...I have been in ENBP for the last 10 years and from my time spend with him. He tells me he is not employed since wadeva wadeva... from what I heard from his people (he assist baining - his mother's people) incorporate their land groups and sells to outsider...

He has a land somewhere up at Warangoi (sikut) call Orong Estate...from what I know from the inland (lasul) baining is that em wokim hait hait stap...em kam long mipla em dai blo em...

so oltogether he is a con - em sa kisim graun blo ol asples baining (conim ol) na salim

By the time you stand near the polling boot , you have less than 2minutes to write "1, 2 & 3"...so make up your mind now or forget about voting and don't complain in future....

Just to inform these forum, the people of baining and pomio, and some areas of the tolai population and the waira people have all agreed to block vote Levi for their first preference votes to BOX 22, and also for your information, we will have a new governor.

Re: Traim Levi Orong

Sol,
I reckon you are a con!!!

If you are questioning his profession, go check the UPNG regristration records and you will find that Levi Orong has a BA Degree in Public Policy Management and back in ENBP he was a councilor and President of the Sinivit local level government, Chairman of the ENB Provincial land board, Autonomy commettee member under Sir Paulias and Sir Ronald Tovue and the Board Member of the Kerevat National High School just to name a few.

If you do not understand the plight and hardship of the Baining and Pomio people I suggest you refrain from talking about land issues of the Baining People..I will give you just one example,,the river that is generating power to the this town and into the villages of the, kokopo, gazelle and rabaul electorate comes out of the baining mountains and yet you will not find any single power pole let alone electricity in to the baining villages.

Now, Levi is not selling lands but leases portions of land to people to get population into these areas for developments that will justify government services like power into these areas which will benefit the baining people in the long run.

If you say you know and talk to him, I don't understand why you do not know these facts about Levi.

Stop hiding behind a pen and writing unsubstantiated statement on someone who will be the Goverrnor of this Province.
