| Nationalist, obviously you are not from Simbu..i agree with you that he's got the brains and true, he can think outside the box for a better Simbu..however,there are some battles he has to fight out before he is mandated by the people. 1) he is contesting against his cousin for the same seat thus his base is split. 2) there are three candidates from his clan all contesting so others are saying 'are they the only ones for Simbu?'which means people are rteluctant to vote in people from the same tribe (same situation is also faced by another regional candidate Mr. Noah Kool) 3) His campaign and policies are all refered to example in the US...US's and PNG's economic/social/legal environments are totally different...people are saying he is 'dreaming the impossible'..4) like you said it, Dr. Waine let everyone down in 2007...there are some other reasons too..Simbu's do need someone of the calibre of Dr. Waine but at the moment he's got his backyard mixed up so am predicting his chances for winning is slim... |
