Niningi will never win even when he takes it to court...it will be mission impossible...he proved himself foolish by forcing the RO to declare him. He is becoming a laughing stock on the media...
He should have collated his evidence and taken it up with the court of disputed returns instead of resorting to bush-man attitude and attempting to take the law into his hands.
Only he knows better, being a lawyer for that matter and they way he and his cohorts conducted themseleves speak volumes of foolishness and short-sightedness.
Though it is not too late to take it up with the courts.
Anyhow, Francis Awesa also is needed in the national sphere especially the Chinese loan of 7 billion earmarked for major road infrastructure development, especially the Gulf to Kisenepoi highway construction. We care less about who builds it but we need the service, dont we?
Look at the Tagali bridge for instance. Marape's JDPBPC may not have had much say to who would be the company to construct it, let alone the cost involved but after all they have a world class bridge that will serve their generations to come.
We need such visionary leaders who can make an impact to bring tangible developments. Look at Pangia for instance. They are seeing some changes not only during the time O'Neill was PM but before that.
However, though Imbongu is right along the main highway, much needed services are not really reaching the populace but Awesa may have done a bit during his time thus collecting more votes than the rest of the candidates. It would only be fitting for an Imbongu speaking leader to take up where Peipul left off but there seems to be so much indiferrence and animosity amongst themselves thus they will never win for the years to come unless and until they learn to become Indians and leave a few credible ones with the Chief title.
