There are some intending candidates out there like:
> Paul Gende
> Peter Waieng
> Mattew Siune
It is their constitutional right as we all know.
the other side of it is let us look at the perspective of the voters. the people now want development and change. they do not want politics. the difference here is that development is something tangible that people will really see, feel and enjoy the results of it both physically and emotionally. Politics is intangible and abstract. we only get satisfaction from all kinds of sweet promises and little bribes.
Honorable Kulang delivers developments now and play politics by assuring people that he will complete what he is doing now. here is a new mix of politics and development working side by side. therefore the honorable member is hard to beat now.
I hate to enlighten you, but you're choosing a leader, not cheering on a sports team. Try to include some substance and evidence in your postings, rather than look like a zombie that says "rah rah" whenever someone pushes the right button on your body.
Lokal Turis, if you had done yourself what you're advising others to do, you'd be able to spell out some of the accomplishments. But you haven't and so you can't, and we can all see that as clear as day. You're a humbug!
we are the pople of kundiawa gembgl, dfernetely we are goiing to make sure that kulang come back on 2012 general election. we are sorry abovt the canadates who are going to contesting to challed kulang.bai mipela bai kaikai money bilong youpela, dont think that we are going to give you vote 1,2,or vote 3.sorry tumas, larim pekinini blg youpela karim sevis i kam.
a leader with substance would be someone with integrity, vision, fortitude and of good social standing or status. do we see such factors of making a better leader in Kulang? I personally see some of these in him that is why i am posting. but if i am wrong i stand to be corrected.
a leader with evidence would be someone who can talk and actually deliver what he or she talks about. i think i have seen more than enough of these evidence since he took office vacated by another of our great leader in Late Joe Mek Teine. Again i stand to be corrected if i post false evidence.
how do you perfectly sure Kulang is an Action Man. he just try to show colour to Gembogl people for that short period of time as such to go back to Parliament this new term again. you and i never know... this is politics prematurity. he might show off to us to get Kundiawa/Gembogl seat this term, does he, or he might be a Action Man. NOKEN GURIA LONG SOTPELA TAIM MEMBER ACTION. he is not a full term member of the parliament like ACTION GOVERNOR IPATAS. quiet dude.
Plis noken kolim nem blo Mathew Siune ..........am very sick to hear his name....Cant he give change to other young politicians? em No seat MAMA KARIM U NA PUTIM YOU LONG EM>
It's very depressing to see how very little any of us actually know about the candidates for the seat, even the candidates who we support we don't seem to know enough about that we can even share their qualifications on this board.
In other words, we're voting as ignorant citizens. Don't be surprised if we get surprised about what those we elect start doing the moment they get into power.
Kundiawa Gembogl Projects update after by election
April 7 2012, 12:58 PM
A total of K40 million of projects have been secured during the last 6 months by the new member. K30.6 has been received/secured and balane have been secured in committments. Summary is as follows:-
K25m - Yuai to Gewa road sealing. work already started and expected date of completion is May 2013.
K2 m - secured in 2011 for rural roads
K2 m - additional rural roads funds secured in 2012 for all 4 LLGs
K1 m - RESI funds secured in 2012 for education infrastructure.
K.5m - for rural electrification from Dulpagl to Gogme
K.12m - Rural Market Project
K7m - Committed by PM for Mt Wilhelm Secondary, Agriculture and Health
K2.5m - Committed by former Minister for Finance for District Treasury Roll out.
In addition to securing the above funding, MP has secured the first Secondary school for the electory after these years. Mt Wilhelm high will start taking Grade 11 next year.
Dr John Tonar is a Senior Medical Doctor (Specialist Physician) from Kundiawa/Gembogl. He contested the bye-election and did very well. He is a better educated, experienced public servant who has been at forefront of leaderships at both his student days and working as a senior doctor. He has the energy and determination to offer his service for the benefit of his beloved Kundiawa-Gembogl people and PNG at large.
He is now ripe enough to be in parliament and the people of Kundiawa-Gembogl must sent him in now.
History speaks loud and clear. Peter Waieng, what has he achieved? Mathew Siune, what has he achieved? Why they never give up contesting? They have seen, felt and tasted power...the power bestowed humbly up on them by Kundiawa Gembogl people...Noken pasim eye na vote.
In Simbu culture Reciprocity (NERE TERE/NENDRE TENDRE) is an important concept as it provides a flatform where win win negotiations and solutions are made and participating parties are happy at last.
so we put our culture into our politics then we experienced this culture, but in a very bad way. bribery and corruption was traded for the simple peoples' political rights and after all their trade contract was not honored properly. evidence shows through lack of service delivery through our preceding MPs from whom Waieng and Siune were part of...
Now that Kulang delivers it indicates that our contract through our votes to him was well honoured.
so at last reciprocity deal through our votes earned something good that all people of Kundiawa Gembogl see now! Besides, Bribery and corruption over shadowed the impact of political power that would have influenced the lives of so many, in the past. Now it is clear as we experienced huge amounts of money that converted to basic services and actually impacted the lives of so many.
Now if we wanted more of these services to come we must trade our votes right. Before Reciprocity was seen as NERE - TERE /NENDRE -TENDRE (kaikai pastaim mi givim) Now we must change to TERE - NERE /TENDRE-NENDRE (Givim pastaim na kaikai bihain) time to say no to corruption and bribery so we make sensible decisions at the polls...
Peter Waienge and Mathew Siune, Look back, in front of you and around you, what have you REALLY DONE in your terms. NOTHING, absolute nothing signifies your term in parliament and we knew and voted you out. Shame on you, power hungry zero tolerence incompetent premature politicians can't give in still fighting for luck.

Waieng and Mathew never delivered during their terms in parliament. Lo winim election em hat, na yu win bai u stap yet ya. Why you go aut bikos, yu lus ting ting lo divelopmen. It will never be the same for you. Sorry tumas. The same goes for Joseph Onguglo who is also contesting.
We want true leadership with credibility. No bribery, threats and whatsoever. Ambu yagl motnga, look into yourselves, you are not a true leader inside out. Times have now changed..
I looked in to myself and see that I am an up right citizen of this nation, thus I don't evaluate a person by his or her character. I am trying to express to you their democratic rights. Speaking of finding an honest and credible leaders...may be in 50 years time...you might most probably have one who may bring in changes. At this point of time, NAH! I don't think so. These two men are challenging us right now so start planning to contest next election. Criticising people will not change anything..

Kundiawa Gembogl is Fortunate To Have Hon. Tobias Kulang
June 23 2012, 6:51 PM
Hon. Tobias Kulang has sacrificed his business and prestigious career to provide leadership for Kundiawa Gembogl and eventually PNG. He does not need to enter politics because when he was an acting CEO of PNG Microfinance Ltd, he was earning 3 to 4 times more than what he is earning as an MP.
On the eve of the Kundiawa Gembogl bye election, he was to be confirmed as CEO of PNG Microfinance with double package but he sacrificed that saying that it was a temptation to test whether he was serious to sacrifice to provide leadership that is lacking in PNG.
He does not care about anything whether it be money or cargoes he cares about people. I know him for almost ten years. If you know him you will never leave him. He has connections worldwide because of his sacrificial leadership.
Go Hon. Kulang, "The Higher is Your Mountain, The Higher is Your Destiny".
Let the people have their say, whoever is elected will be the people's choice as they would have their faith in him/her. If you get elected, please do away with the name 4-CORNER town. Add some more corners please, maybe make it a pentagon. Thanks.
Can someone please list the names of all intending candidates now?
June 25 2012, 8:42 PM
I don't like this small fanfare of words, being used to describe Kulung's lousy six months as a sign of sincere loyalty. I mean seriously people, if you know you have only six months before you come under the scrutiny of the people, what would you do? Of course you would strive to bring in as much development as you guy, knowing fully well in a short space of time you will be back at the mercy of the people. You would consider working tirelessly for 6 months for the people as tiny investment for 5 years of power, where you can do whatever..It's to see Simbu, the province where we boast of having the smartest brains, having people so naive..so please tell me about other candidates and not your naivety.

okay, okay all the talk about politics, but wait is anyone intrested in attending a big social bash at lamana gc on friday that im organising,, where its a meet, greet and drink event,,,,,,,entry 20 bucks per person, if you want to come and attend then reply back,,,,
ps can some shed some light,, whose Kondom Agaundo
Check your history, the Bodiam built building that houses the Simbu Provincial Government is named after him, he was a pineer politician, and you will see his cemetry opposite Wandi Primary School.
The road in the processed of being fixed from Yuai up, the power lines being installed from Gande to Goglme, Mt. Wilhelm Higshool ready for grade 11's next year, and approved ADB funding from Gewa to Gembogl is enough for a landslide victory for Toby. FYI, last week mipla kaikai moni blo Peter Waeing em kam handout long Bandima. Aste mipla kaikai moni blo Mathew Siune, em kam handout long Baringigl, em pasin blong ol em ol soim nau. Baim mipla long moni...BUT VOTE WAN NA TU BAI GO BEK LONG HETWARA....lapflaps na two kina mipla kisim tasol vote em blo wanwan long skelim pasin na givim.... Stretpla pasin em win olsem na Toby bai kisim bek.
As for those praising Dr. Tonar and the likes of him.....well hurray for him but WHAT IS TOBY NOT DOING???? WHAT HAS HE DONE WRONG???? WHAT IS HE NOT DOING THAT OTHERS ARE GOING IN TO DO???? he is already proven himself...why not let him work out the next five years to fully accomplish all that he has set out to do already.....
Mipla kaikai mani blo Willie Gogl,Mathew Siune na Peter Waieng istap ya,em normal ya,VOTE 1 em blong Kulang stret..Come on guys be scared of this guy Kulang because it is going to be landslide this time.We voters are becoming more smarter and clever.Kulang will definitely win the Kundiawa Gembogl seat back.
Why would I waste my time communicating with old timmers back at home? I mean its not like their gonna hand me a cheque worth 2.4 million us dollars,,,,
I am from Southern Highlands and yet I know the history of the famous Kondo Magaundo. For someone to be born a Simbu and yet don't know your identity and go into questioning. Just wondering how old you are. A kid fair enough. Isn't Kundiawa your town or Guminie: The very building which is situated in the heart of the four corner town where normal businesses operate as been named after the very man Kondo Maguando. Go back to your roots and find out more. You need to know the history well because it is your roots. Does not matter which part of Simbu you come from when it is sitted right in the heart of the city there is no excuse in asking over the net.
I think, this time we have learnt some lessons. A weak person bribes with money and material stuff. You are giving away and coming out a good loser. Next taim, karim PASIN tasol go lo eleksen bai you gat respekt. Otherwise you will trouble yourself all the through. Politics in Kundiawa Gembogl have now taken a new twist. No more con politics...You might continue to be a good loser, for real..
Kulang was leader in corporate arena before entering politics
June 29 2012, 7:35 PM
Yes Kulang would be desperate given the six months after by election sweating all his guts out to cling onto power for the next five years.
In the corporate sector he was a successful leader leading many of his fellow papua new guineans to become successful business people.
Unlike corporate sector politics is always crook because crooks manipulate the system. He is trying his best to implement his corporate style of leadership into public entity now. Has he achieved results? Yes indeed!
Considering his personal lifestyle he married to one wife, strong christian principles, visionary and vibrant, good standing in the community. I mean these issues are public knowledge and people knew about it. That is why they supported him having in mind that he will deliver! Besides we truly do not want recycle pollies and incompetent people to become spectators in Waigani!!
Re: Kulang was leader in corporate arena before entering politics
June 29 2012, 8:20 PM
Just so you know,,, mathew siune was the worst crook the elctorate saw. At one stage he tried to force mathew kanua also from the same electorate to siphone some money out whilst he was minister for agriculture and while kanua was D.A.L secretary,,,
The end result- the secretary and the minister always had inhouse fights which resulted in the department/ ministry not performing so well.
And the last election I heard they were both contesting
I wonder if both mathew kanua is still contesting in this years gen election?
Your point really makes sense.I appreciate your posting.Anyhow people are people and they are free to express their views and it is good for you to enlighten us on the positive side of the MP so we the voters can learn more about our local MP.We have to know everything about their private life and public life. For myself I feel that Kundiawa Gembogl is in safe hands now more than ever before..Gutpla dei long upla
agreed! former members should not contest as they had their turns already in ruiling the people. the end result, people lost faith in them and they lost;;; former members trying to regain former glory should stop it
U husait usim name gumine ya u harim a? mathew kanua m sina2 yongumugl na mathew siune blo kundiawa/gembogl so u gat wanem business lo tupla? ok they are public figures and both are respected leaders in their own rights and they have earned their time so stop spreading rumours that you can't show the evidence. Mi gumine tru2 tryn to say sometimes you hav no proof of your speech and generalise you identy by guminie those who know the real thing that happened btwn them will critise us genuine gumine so y not u show a persnal nickname or something else!
if you r not from either gumine or png then y r u wasting ur time tlking about our issues of the day. m black and m proud of being a pngean and black is beautiful and i stand tall as a pngean and try to defend my sensible hauslain from gumine in u spreading unsubstantiated information like urs using gumine for others to mock...we gumine say gumine abal n not'ambai'

Besides I'm stating the facts about kanua and siune and its true everyone who worked for the DAL department and ministry knew this info long ago. But an arsehole like you was busy living under our provinces limestone rocks you wouldn't know what was happening in our capital.before you mouth around like a typical trash settlement lowlife,, just shut the fuuck up and listen to peoples facts. You are nothing. You don't even have the resources to campaign and win for our electorate so you just climb under our limestone rocks and keep quite because right now I know you're a typical primitive arsehole who spoils our provinces reputation
hav u been reading ur own postings!!! u r jst using the issues to pour ur internal sufferings out> u knw y? coz u wish you are not black, you wish u r not pngean, u wish u r not livng a lowlife in the settlement, u wish to be getting laid,u wish you r from simbu, u wish u r not a firerice/biatche.

Offcourse your the emotional one when it involves the two mathews because I know you gave a blow job to old man siune and kanua, the end result your a two faced low life no good dirty bitch whose jumping the band wagon like a typical settlement arsehole from morauta. Don't mouth about me because I come from a well of family we live in the 90211 of port moresby and I have it all,,, you the arsehole obviously wouldn't know because your a piece of settlement trash who hasn't been home in years accumulating fat and just counting your days down till you will be brought back home in a coffin,,,, if i knew your crappy dirty filthy mud infested primitive face I will run over you with my car, I don't give a damn if I go to jail at least I know a fraudulent simbu wannabe from my village is 6 feet under and rotting like a biatche,,, while I laugh and spit at your grave- gumine wanna be! You are nothing, a fraud, an alliby a political 2kina gimmick for the 2012 election who can't distinguish between good and bad that's why and you already becomming a definite city hoe in the making awaiting your next client to use you like a dirty worn out toy,,,

Okay clearly I am talking to some primitive women who has never had the chance of indulging in luxury soap and running water, its okay- I now know why you became defensive of the two mathews- your their village concubine that's why you become so emotionally engrossed when I mentioned those two crooks names- its alright I know your a fake gumine- you support crooks because your stupid in the head and dirty in the arrse

*sigh* its too tragic that Mr Joe Mek Teine had to leave so soon though...... *sniff*
Getting very close to voting day.Final Prediction is Hon.Kulang will definitely pick 18,000 to 20,000 first votes from Niglkande and Mitnande LLGS total population votes of 27,000 people. This figure does not include town and Waiye LLG.If Waieng and Mathew can master the same first votes then it will be a close battle otherwise the Hon. member is miles ahead.
Re: Kulang will get votes from Kundiawa Urban As well
July 6 2012, 11:48 AM
Tom Kulang appears to be a quality leader for Simbu and PNG. It would be good for Kundiawa-Gebogl to re-elect this aspiring leader back to parliament so that after 2017 we will give get a good evaluation of his leadership qualities.
There is a saying that, if you are jeolouse, talk at the back or criticising a candidate then you are fougth to defeating the potential of winning the election. If you are the one go against Peter Waieng, remember He is Winner at the end believe or not, we will see there. mi les long drink koolwara blong gowenight bee.
