February 17 2012, 1:54 PM

Why is the sitting member Guma Wau stock pilling arms for ?
Is he scared of some intending candidates and wants to start a tribal fight.
C'mon Kerowagi's get rid of him.
Timothy Bonga is right, the member for Kerowagi is a criminal so the Police should do their job without fear or favour and get him.

Warlord

disregard the assumption that Kerowagi MP stock pile arms because there is no proof whatsoever done regarding the same.

Bonga called Wau a criminal. What will you call Wau? Weapon smuggler or criminal? He has a court case pending with the national court so its up to the courts to decide whether he is guilty or not.

Look at the service delivery of Bonga's Nawaeb open and Wau's Kerowagi, Wau's much better than Bonga's. Let us sometimes keep our heads up and look at the bright side of things.

I agree...Minister Wau has proven that he can deliver services with his minimal education but non-sense. He held ministries under both regimes. That means he can play his game. Besides, lets not be negative about our leader, comapred to TImotyh Bonga being a Somare puppet, he has history of squandering millions belonging to Eda Ranu adn other boards he has been director. He is a criminal by every definition,,,,How is Nawae progressign despite being located within the industrial city of Lae...Kerowagi is going.,,,,lets be proud of this.....Kerowagians joingmme in appaluding both past and present leaders who ahve lead with generosity....

My pick for top 3 for 2013:
1. Guma Wau
2. Peter Kuman
3. Joe TIsa boy

Dr Alphones Kambu is not too bad off a choise...but I would prefer him for the Governor Seat...with his knowledge and experience overseas..he is suitable for a broader responsibility...I'm not a nere tere person but for comming election I would prefer people who are around the place and know the daily living of Kerowagi people. Thoes who know the Kerowagians face to face and know the specific district needs.
The current MP Guma Wau will still be in the race unless his current court case fall through, Tisa Boi might bounch back to the raise again.
Mr Sanap Cammilus Dangima got the money so people eat as much as you can if you have the chance. Who knows, he might pick some good loose votes with the cash. Hes close rival Peter Kuman lawyer is handing the same so dux people, please enjoy more of thoes babaques.
There are heaps of intending to run aswell on the other side of waghi, Silku, Kamenuku, Paglau, Hetwara and Gena so hope someone with good intention wins.
Kerowagi is blessed with the beutiful landscape in Simbu and we are 1 step ahead of all the district so please lets keep this election safe!!

No, its not about jealousy. Any thinking person realises that you can't win the election in Kerowagi unless you have big money - money enough to bribe voters, then after the election, money enough to bribe electoral officials to switch votes.

The winner in Kerowagi is gonna be the fellow who has the most money to pay out in bribes. It has nothing to do with qualifications, only about money.

May the most corrupt candidate win!

Anyone reading the newspaper and from Kerowagi has been embarrassed by one revelation after another of the Dishonourable Wau's cowboy tactics. He sounds more like a thug than a professional.

The average voter in Kerowagi is dumb and stupid, easily bought off by sweet talk and free money at election time. I don't think we can use the electorate as any judge on the qualities of our leaders, do you?

Minister Wau makes the ground shake like guria bikos he has become so overweight with too much free food and a fat salary, supplemented by his little greedy fingers putting public money into his pocket.

4: Dagama Camilus (Mr Sanap) from Koronigle
5: Jeffery Bare from Koronigle
6: Olto Witus from Dux????
7: Kunagil Kolkia from Gena

Few names added so please post your personal suggestion about these guys.

I prefer Dagama Camilus to contest for Regional Seat. He is trying to create conflict among his very own people who always aupported him in previous elections.

I prefer John Kamb. Anyone have any idea about former member for Kerowagi? He has done alot for this electrate. Don't vote any Gena candidates cos Alphonse has done nothing. Gena educated elites are full of Jelous. They are bunch of assholes who hold back the progress of this district.

Likely List of Candidates

April 11 2012, 12:00 PM

Insider, an update of likely candidates, surely the list will triple. Gena has 5 candidates
on the current list, 2007 election saw 27 candidates from Gena along.
Credible people with hearts for the people who can bring development from the list below would
be:-
Peter Kuman Lawyer
Dr. Alphonse Kambu
Dulie Kumgi &
Samson Wena

Judgement is based on their qualifications/merits, higher IQ, wanting to give back to the people or
bring in very basic (tangible) services. Hausline and petty politics must not be allowed beyond 2012.
Kerowagi district been on the fringes of Wahgi Valley should have all the basics of services including
(electricity) power grid connecting through all feeder roads, water supply, decent feeder roads with easy
topograpical access compared to other districts in Simbu.

1. Bari Palma (Bandi)
2. Paul Siwi (Gena)
3. Camillus Dangima (Waugla)
4. Guma Wau (Dangle)
5. Peter Kuman Lawyer (Siambugla)
6. Joe Tisa boy (Siglku-Kamaneku)
7. Dr.Alponse Kambu (Graiku)
8. Samson Wena (Paglau)

Guma Wau (Dagle)
Joe Tisa Boi (Pagau)
Paul Siwi (Pagau)

DOnt profess to be Gena Gaz unless you belong there,,,,Guma Wau will retain his seat because (1) he has support base throughout the district (2) He is the sitting MP, (3) he has cash to play (4) he knows his game (5) Dage has only 1 candidate in himself (6) He's got a strong link with the Silku-Kamaneku and Kumai/Graikus (7)He's Peter O'neil and William Duma's man. Politically as as far as numbers are concerned the SM is safe.

KFC-Minor Corrections

April 12 2012, 12:19 AM

KFC,

For your info I am a proud Gena and I do not pretend . I refer Paul Siwi , the son of great Siwi Korondo who resides in Lae, my apology for my typo error on Guma and Tisa Boy, thankyou for your corrections.

I only speak what I preceive as the way forward for the betterment of Kerowagi district, hoping elites can share their views in this forum as I find it convinient that we can contribute meaningful ideas and address developmental shortfalls since independence.

My preference on the likely candidates who have shown interest to take us back to achieving basic services devoid of prejudice and erasing hausline mentality. FYI my assessment on the performance of the current member lacks these skills.

The basic services I refer includes:-

a) power grid covering all feeder roads going up to Gena Nogar, Bi/Kup Gamar, Gagul/Denge villages and schools alike. Just go to PNG Power to get a quote for power grid to cover all the feeder roads of Kerowagi into villages and schools and you will be surprised.

b) supplement with reliable water supply to promote healthy lifestyle.

c) Maintain feeder roads and bridges as these are conduits to earn a (well you say a decent) living for the local populace.

Only after you can deliver these basics to the people of Kerowagi regardless of your affiliations then let THE PEOPLE talk about you....boastful is tasteless.

Gena Gas, I dnt think you know what you ate talking. Wisdom is not knowledge. Wisdom only comes from God and to only few people. First your list may lack people with wisdom. Secon, On the electricity issues, the economics of infrastructure project dictates cost n benefits..if cost outweighs benefits the investment cost maybe be sunk cost at best. 1km of HV/LV lines cost k100,000(exclusive of landowner claims on improvemts) so you look at 10km =k1million. Why putting up this money only to serve a school if that k1mil would otherwise best be utilise building a hospital or some classrooms.

Screen the candidates well, and vote in people who are honest, caring, intelligent, with high morale values and good orational skills.

Street Mangi,

What utter garbage to boast about numbers when the common roll is still not out for
scrutiny? In your dreams you may have at least 10,000. The sitting member has not achieve
any tangible development other than providing sporadic and random services which is not even
worthy of discussion but is a reflection of his background.

The Kerowagi people will make their judgement comes polling day and a new leader will emerge.

@Barawagi, if your live at Barawagi im amazed yu must be a highlevel deaf and dumb not to see and hear what the incumbent has been doing. Does Electricty Projects, Health Centers, Mobile Barracks, Ambulances, Classrooms, School Trucks, Teachers Houses, Bridges and so forth... Aint they tangible? oh i fogot you are deaf and dumb to hear and see- otherwise u must be fishin in the banks of waghi so ddint have time to see and hear whats been happening on the ground. Your use of the terms "Sporadic and Random" is totally inapproriate as to the context of these key andtangible projects. Maybe term sounds appealing to you but the appplicability is totally wrong.

Against mulitple objectives of Law and Order, Education, Health, Roads, Infrastructure and so forth, the MP has utilising the resources where the criotical needs are. Well, the time is right, see if you can send a new representative, otherwise the incumbent will retain his seat based on his popularity and for what he has delivered in the last five years.

You are so enslaved with the little services that the current member dished out only to his voters that
you are not seeing the bigger picture. It amazes you, does it? Small heads do not think big.

We hope this election will bring us a better leader who knows no boundaries and can systematically deliver the very basic services Kerowagians(All tribes) were devoid off since independence.
For the interest of the public you should list the whereabouts of the services the MP dished out so far instead of generalising-cannot buy your word for now.

Re: NEW LEADER

May 4 2012, 9:22 PM

@ Barawagi, I am not generalising nor am i being vague. I am talking projects that are on teh ground and seen and felt. In your case, you tend to deny these services. While there may be elements of service concentration in one area, it is based on the needs basis. for example, the 08 Mobile Barracks being moved to Ganige, that is to free up land at Kerowagi to ensure future develoment of teh town is not squizzed. besides, Ganige is a hotspot for holds and where Dages, Kumais, Graikus, Endukas including Kamemnuka to certian extent have history of tribal fights...the Barracks is very strategic to ensure peace and to stop highway hold-ups for travelling public.

There is never a time, Kerowagians so-called elites hiding under pen-names acknowlding this simple fact. now this not not generalisation, the list of projects is endless unless, you really havent been in Kerowagi then i can list them for ya!...otherwise like i said, the people will decide their leader through the electoral process which i am sure the sitting MP is leading the race in this front. I am not being biased in this statement because i can see what is on the graun. We are not talking somting vague or not existent...

I'm still will my 3 canidates....Annon or Bariyal, this forum is about putting forward your canidates...if you cannot, you can sink with the rest.
Standards and specification are my cutoff mark to choose canidates from....not wormanising, not alchole and not pokies which everyone knows how to do it....i dont see these reasons as somthing to benchmark on...if you want, you can add on LYING, STEALING, & BUYING GUNS ETC to your list...everyone does that including you!
You must understand that the bottom line is having someone to represent kerowagi should be able to communicate, read & produce documents at a higher degree....Standards & Specifications are just examples...say Proposal, Reports and Media statements without the need to spend extra toea to get a kuskus/briefcase carrier to do thoes...getting back to standards and specifications - if you are educated enough you will know the importance to have thoes inplace before running any projects.
A question for you, to what standards you want a contractor to use peoples money to build an insfrustrture like road too? are we looking at improving to the next level or are we heading backworks? everything needs to be done to standards to get the value for money, otherwise peoples money will go to dogs and we can live in caves after 20 years from now. elected MPs who can persue this are my choise!
