Rimbink Pato is no longer coming back in Political bench to challenge Micky Kayok as he has failed three times.

He is going for other altenatives like starting up a business in Port Moresby.

RIMBINK PATO KEEPS TRYING BUT NOT HARD ENOUGH

February 29 2012, 9:30 PM

People never have voted Rimbink Pato but he has made few attemps to get himself into Parliament through his lawyer experties and was unfortunately unsuccessful. Watch him again this time as he might like to play his chicky game again to get into power for some reason.

quack quack!

Rimbink Pato, the fat ducky that wants his big chance to steal too!

Pato is just like a duck who keeps waddling back to the same pond, over and over again.

One of the most indisputably corrupt PNG lawyers ever. His game is to make a deal with someone inside government (e.g. Morobe provincial government) for legal services that has a budget much much higher than what the legal services should actually cost. Then some of the money is secretly deposited into an overseas bank account of the government official to gave Pato the contract.

Re: Dan Kakaraya

February 4 2012, 4:33 PM

Are you a 5 year old? Why else would you tell us who you were voting for and not giving a shred of backup information to support why you think Kakaraya is so great? Your posting gives no contribution at all to our discussion of who the best candidates might be.

Don't you understand-the reason why we elect one failure after another is because we're told to vote for this or that person, but never given good, solid evidence why they are the right candidate. For all I know, Dan Kakaraya is planning right now how he would use his 5 year time in POM to become a multi-millionaire at the public's expense.

Please, use your intelligence to provide us with some reasons for supporting Dan Kakaraya. Otherwise we'll just assume that you're either a blindly supportive wantok OR an empty head.

Ples Karuka,

Thats very true, as candidates entire background (skill, qualification, etc) must be outlined so we can see the best or someone who can handle the position and not just have the member title.

We know that for years Pato has corruptly been getting kickbacks from people inside government to hire his obscenely priced legal services. Definitely another step backwards electing him.

But what about Dan Kakaraya? You can't give us generalised putdown remarks with no specifics and expect us to believe you. What's your evidence he's no good?

Kakaraya is definitely going to win. He knows who to bribe and how to get the votes switched the easiest way. It dont matter if he gets the most votes or not he'll still end up the winner in this horse race.

Rimbunk Pato, more corruption stories follow him than any other lawyer except Paul Paraka

March 11 2012, 9:50 AM

Wizzy hitman, this is something you need to understand about our country. We're not like a normal country where there are many honest police investigators who often do Sting operations and entrap people they believe to be corrupt. We have none of that. The best we can go on most of the time are the rumours, because quite frankly rumours that contain much substance and detail, and especially when they come from people higher up or working in our banks (who see the money transfers). I believe Pato is well mentioned in the Dept. Finance Inquiry report for money stealing. However many years before that he was constantly mentioned in terms of being one of the most corrupt of PNG lawyers. Some specific allegations are a kickback scheme with the Morobe provincial government.

Wizzy, the fact is that these rumours don't pop out of nothing, and a few disgruntled people angry at Pato could not possibly manufacture such a series of rumours that chase after this duck for so many years.

The fact is that there are many candidates, often from other tribes, about whom there are none of these kinds of corruption rumours. That doesn't mean that they're not corrupt but we would be hell of a lot better off voting for them than voting for people who have a known black trail of corruption stories following behind them.

WAPS OPEN 2012

March 11 2012, 4:34 PM

It appears there are allott of allegations labelled against Mr. Rimbink Pato. However, it is sad also to note that all these allegations are unsubstantiated. If you argue that a person is corrupt, then you have to support it.

It appears that all writers of these forum are just bunch of crabs. With that attitude, I would assume that he is a very successful lawyers and a rich man that most people in Wapenamanda are just jealous of his success. I dont think any person in Wapanemanda match him as a person. He is smart, rich and very outgoing. It would be a mistake not to vote him in.

I have watched Miki Kaeok from the sidelines and note that he is just idea less. He cant even be a Minister in any cabinet. I feel sorry for him as I am a family friend of his. I think that the Yangakun tribe should just vote Rimbink so that he can bring some development to their place.

I have worked with Mr.Pato and I know he is a very competent man and he deserves to be paid more should any person require his services. I know that allot of businesses (both foreign and national) engage him for his services which is normally expensive, I must say,but to hire a man such as Rimbink for his services is expensive, and he delivess the best. Because he is the best in that area.

I support you Wizzyhitman

March 11 2012, 11:21 PM

In fact I am one of those core supporter of our current member Mr. Micky Kayok but I have never seen any good out of him as being our leader. Therefore as one of the desparate such development desirer for Waps, I would strongly support and give my valuable vote to our lawer Rimbink Pato for development and better service for my home sweet home Waps District, even though what differences he has and what other people may say against him.

He is truly one of those most powerful lawer and ofcourse one of those top six lawers PNG serves. As being one of those prominent and loial lawer of PNG who holds the top demandable profession in PNG'S Law Sector, he will definately be highly recordnised in the Parliament and be given a ministerial potpolior that will be the blessing for our development and changes in our District.

Please all Waps, why not we be honest ourselves and screen our intenting candiates FARELY & HONESTLY rather than being shelfish, greedy, foolish, full of jellous, keep oppossing when truth is there and known/obvious? We should realise that by doing so, there is a big cut in development and better service we are demanding.

VOTE RIMBINK PATO IN FOR WAPENAMANDA OPEN AND VOTE SANDY TALITA IN FOR ENGA REGIONAL FOR MASSIVE CHANGE IN WAPS AND ENGA PROVINCE.

What the HELL did you go to school for? To learn how to debate logically, or to name call? How many times have you used "dumb" in your posting - doesn't that show us all that you have no ability to debate and offer facts and figures to back up your opinions?/

You're a beautiful example of why PNG is in the shape it is. You went to school for how many years, yet you have never learnt how to think logically, and use that logical thinking to give convincing arguments. What the hell did you think you were going to school for?

Dumb, dumb, dumb!

Rimbink Pato

April 10 2012, 7:52 PM

Rimbink Pato would be an ideal candidate for one of the seats in Port Moresby but even then he can't talk and lead people.

We are not questioning is educational qualifications and experiences but he is just not a leader to lead people. He can't even speak Enga. George Yapao could become a good leader. Mark Yaka from Tsak and a few others. Rest of you are no match for Mike Kaeok who is so fluent in the Enga language that none of you can challenge him. Forget about your money and so call bigman name tages like R. Pato and Danny Kakarrya. We want people who can lead and talk both at Provincial and National level.

Mike has problems at National level leadership. For this reason, we may have changed but who? John Tuik? May be too young and emotional? Johnson Anjo? May be too family orientated and not open enough.

Look for a candidate in Wapenamanda! Pastor Khem Zia would be an ideal candidate if he was not a Pastor.
