I want to air my support to Micah Wanis Moke for imbonggu seat.I know this guy work with unicef for last ten years. He travelled many third world countries and Europe as well to bring funds back to PNG to build our schools,etc..
Now he want to contest imbonggu electorate, he is a profesional indivitual leader to vote for. I am confident if he given the chance he will change our walume district.
HE looks young but he is been working for 12 good years in a professional enviroment with many high skilled indivituals. He will be a instrument for development at walume.
I have seen rest of the candidates but not satisfied with all of them, probably Eric but lives in Townsville.
You and your brother candidate can win and promote corruption. He had misapplied K4 millon European donated funds meant for the upgrading and maintenance of a run down mission station from his own area. Is that what you are advocating for? You must be dead stupid in your thick cranium to stand up for a corrupt guy like him. Don't preach rubbish. We all know who your brother candidate is.
For the imboungu open seat, only three hot candidates are said to be gaining the speed of sound. They are Torum Mange, Pila Ninigi and Francis Awesa. Statistics show that Torum Mange from the Tangiki tribe of Kendagl village near Ialibu is a favorite contender for the seat as his popularity is storming all corners of the electorate. Even the Kume Tangiki's around the Kaupena area are backing him up. Pila is another hot one, but he has indicated to support Torum by way of shifting all his number two votes to him and vice versa, a good deal to bring the seat back to imboungu. Francis Awesa is the big fish to challenge but his very own supporters in Mendi have shown little support and crossed over to Torums camp. That was obvious during the normination at Walume.
This election in 2012 for the imbongu seat is going to be really interesting. We have two titans Pila Niningi and Francis Awesa stamping their feet of influence and charm. Most of the candidates from the Mendi side are slowly giving up due to overwheling popular support sliding towards Francis Awesa. My prediction based on this scenario is that Awesa could be winning by the primaru votes. Pila Ninigi is the only formidable candidate that seems to building the momentum from all corners of the electorate. He could cause an upset.
since when,he's been fighting with late peipul for ages, never even won once,Last election he sold his very people to Awasa.
To tell the truth, I meet him and Awasa at ela beach hotel, that must be the ghost.
Thats the reason Why we are not happy with him, my family voted him fors years but feed up now. Time to move on and vote young vibrant, intellectual, honest and educated man to bring development, not bigname, money and so forth....
Hope you get our votes in kaupena,WHO IS Torum mange, frankly.
We Dont want to support Pila and Francis any more. They are buddies in pom and coming home to deceit their very people they voted them. They can bring their dirty money to bribe people in the last minute.
Hope our people have brain to vote them OUT, FEED UP.
I'm so encouraging to see our young leaders trying at national politics. We have Torum Mange, Micah Moke, Eric Tamu, to name a few. Yes, people have been talking so much about Torum Mange before and during the elections particularly at our favourite wate holes and beer pubs i.e. So much boasting but very litle on the score board. My friend I think you should eat your word. Micah and Eric were so quite but did very well. They deserve a come back next time around. Not boastful pub talkers!
You have no idea who ever you are. you probably spoon feed by someone you a looking upon for this election. Don't keep dreaming on your little brain, the more you think it will explore and you'll be gone.
Don't metioned someone's name and blame them for nothing. Where and when He received that K4mil you're preaching, you have the proof then bring them forward. You must be a ghost behind the screen, talk sense if a human being.
Seems like you lost some of your brain cells, better see the GP b4 you die
Go Micah fanatic...whom do you think you are talking to? I know the guy more than you might know and what I have posted here is the truth behind this candidate and nothing else. Because you don't have a sligest clue at all about this fund, you can dance to the tune of your own disatisfaction in support for this guy. The reality is, he has now diverted this fund for his election.
Let people who can make beneficial comments based on facts and figures can use this site.
We don't want to view some people ************ which is you are proclaiming.
You have no idea who Micah is and what He can archive. He is a man of good principle and a giver at heart. He grow up to be a leader and not like others who're hungry for money, bigman figure. He does not have any money for cash out or such, he is running his honnest campagin. He based his campaign with 6 councils and he's improving everyday. We don't like negetive or false comments on such a honest guy.
I reckon people like you should be mindful before you mention someones name on site. I guess, your lies will come back to you, hope, good lord forgives you too.
I asked you bring them forward if you have a proof and once again you failed.just keep out or unless you have something beneficiary for general viewers.
I'M from Imbongu but I studied at Uni with Micha Moke and found him to be a reliable humble person. I met him again in Brisbane when he was on a trip working with Unicef and he was so passionate about development issues and I could see how passionate he was. I know he will serve his people better if he gets in.
Otsider perspective tasol.
Our electorate is falling apart, last five five years awasa never step his foot at Walume head Quarter. We need a young leader from Imbonggu basin to bring change to Walume. ITS a sad situation right now, don't vote for tribes or clans man, vote for someone who can bring change, two people i can see coming up is Micah and Eric, however, eric is in Townsvile and micah has all the qualities to bring Walume forward.
i am not mentioning other candidates including my cousin coz I don't like tribalism, vote for merits pls.
The anti-Wingti people just don't realise that it doesn't matter if Wingti has the popular support or not, or whether he's doing the right thing or not. He's learnt that if he's gonna contest, he's gotta win, not like the 2 past times that he's lost. This time he's willing to spend whatever money it takes and do whatever actions behind the scenes he needs to, to clinch this victory. Wingti is no stupid, he knows that if everyone else is engaging in vote fraud, he knows how to top the pack and come out ahead of the game.
While the blogs are convinient forums for open discusions it would be really nice to observe due courtesy when making comments so the readers can appreciate and partipate meaningfully to the discourses. It isn't nice to pollute the columns with things not pleaseant to the readers like discrediting someone or calling people names.
I was quite taken aback in reading a comment from one particular Imbo Keri. Not in a very delighting manner though and far cry from that. Imbo Keri in the best of his wisdom and to the very best of all abilities he pocess took to task of character assinating a candiadate contesting the Imbonngu Open. Imbo Keri may have personnal vendatta against this candidate in particular, Mr. Micah Moke, but the blogg is NOT the right place to take up his beef.
One can deduce several things from the manner in which Imbo Keri ( or whoever this riff-raff hiding behind this pen-name) framed his attack;
1. Imbo Keri chose the blogg and used a pen-name so he would remain annonymous. This shows the kind of person he or she is. A person who lacks substance- a weaker person who doesn't have confidence to face challenge head on and ready to defend or justify his/her claim, those who take things for granted and abuse systems and process to suit their self-interest.
2. He attacked straight on, very blant. This means Imbo Keri is very poor in the eloquence of penmanship and superb diplomatic writing skills. So he/she could be a wannabe or a riff-raff. Does not belong to the league.
3. Imbo Keri never provided an hint of evidence. I have worked for Unicef for 3 years now I am with UNDP and I have learned that these organisations don't dish out cash without the best practices of Project Management. Projects and including GoPNG partnered projects go through a vigorous process completing the full circuit of the project management cycle. That includes feasibility studies, scoping, stakeholder mapping, finance/budget, implementation, M&E, Repoting etc..How on earth and by all organisations how come Unicef could not see 4 million dollars disapperaing without a trace...? hahaha..Imbo Keri, Imbo Keri..hahaha
4. And finally please refrain from calling someone a long-long. We all are created by the Lord's image. If you have emotions and are taking the best of you please try use restrain. In diplomacy we controll our emotions and never give our position easily away. You do this and you will not go off the line.
Eric Tamo in Townsville, a young leader like Micha who can bring change!!! What a hogwash? Because you are behind the dark curtains and spattering, you can't tell us what change he can bring when he’s got nothing to proof he can. It’s so much of utter bull crap to promote someone who has lived half of his life outside and has very little influence back home to get the needed support to win. Other than his own family and tribesman, he is a foreigner unlike local man Micha who fully understands the problem faced by our people back in the rural settings. But then Micha has his own stories, which can put him down such as the misuse of European Aid funds acquired through the rehabilitation project of a rundown rural mission station, which was never carried out. Both of them have a long way to proof themselves if they are the types to be mandated by the people to lead by example for the first time at national front.
Can we yalibuans (basin) for a change agree on one person who can fully and truly represent us? We have for too long suffered because of our own doing. Forget about the tribemen's mentality and let us vote for a true leader! We cannot afford another five years of emtiness . This is our opportunity to have a leader who is our own. We must admit that we have been prideful for too long and have suffered the consequences. VOTE ONLY FOR OUR OWN NOW FOR CHANGE!
Why is francis awesa promising imbongu of a k60 MIL road now? He should be campaigning on what he has done this past 5 years not on what he wil be doing. We are not stupid! He has other outstanding progects worth millions that is yet to become a reality. He had his chance and we still need a change!
Folks..any latest updates on the polling for imbonguu open? So far a couple of incidents with one death and the arrests of two prominent candidates being made as per reported in the print media. What else apart from these reports? Is Eric Tamo, Michael Moke and Torum Mange close to winning this election as per the voting being conducted thus far though couting has not started yet? I just wish anyone of these raw imbonguu materials could win as recycled MPs are bunch sick old dogs without teeth to make any better difference as evident from what we have already seen on the ground so far. Imbonguu must start afresh with new bloods for a real change.
Apart from old scum bag Niningi who was arrested , who is the other candiadte who was senn to be haunting polling officals with an automatic m16 rifle at Kou village?
And who are the others that have been implicated so far. Please shed some light.
Do you know why pila niningi was arrested?? You are one of those dumb ones who just believe evry thing that comes up in the media. He was arrested of being in possession of electrol rolls which evry candidate and citizen can have access to. This shows that someone is scared of him and already showing signs of desperation!
Folks, it seems the race is between Awesa and Ninigi. These two are political rivals as we all know for sure. But last election, Ninigi shared bed with Awesa and sold off his intergrity as is what some critics have been saying. The fear is that the same might happen again as Ninigi's head spins when large sums of money is offered to him at the last miniute to avert tensions and court disputes. We hope Ninigi won't let his supporters down this time around as this would be his last to contest. The way things are going, Ninigi still has the potential to become a winner at the end if he fights hard unlike in the last election. Go Ninigi, am with you all the way thru!
