Look at this article-the oil and gas rich SHP has no money. Yet it has hardly any infrastructure either. So what's happening to all the money. Can't you people figure out that nearly ALL (or maybe every single one) of your pollies are making themselves into millionaires at your expense?????
SHP HAS NO FUNDS FOR POLLS

The Southern Highlands provincial administration has not allocated any funds for the general election because it does not have the money.
But it is relying on whatever funding the Electoral Commission will provide.
With three days left to polling, election steering committee chairman Dr Bravy Koensong said the committee which was supposed to support the electoral commission did not have the funds.
Koensong, who is also deputy administrator, said this was because the administration had not given funds to the committee.
As a result, the committee cannot hold meetings, pay allowances, fuel and stationaries.
"We have a problem as the provincial election council has not contributed funds as requested and budgeted for to help in the elections, so the committee has no money to run the elections," he said.

Thanks for your opinion Daniel Collins of Cairns but as I understand it you're an australian citizen, not a PNG citizen and have spent over 3 years rubbishing the Kelegai family throughout the internet. All that said, I don't think your words carry much weight.
Well, SHP was on the map due to the OIL and GAS that now belongs to Hela Province, nau bai ol Souths bai salim ol meri blo ol na ol pikinini meri blo ol so that they can money for lunatics in Agiru centre to mismanage finances of the people of SHP. When Hela was with SHP, the people never benefited, so good luck and good bye Souths ames.
I am really concerned, how will we survive? We a used to big budget and more corruption, nau sampela traipela bell ya bai slek na ol MANGOLOM pundaun kam lo chest ya bai lus nau. It is a sad day for SHP. Lets humble ourselves and see what we can make out of nothing.
Haven't you read? The provinces that have the least money have proven to be the ones who use the money most wisely to achieve the most development. So don't worry about losing a lot of revenue, the more money provinces get in PNG, the more money is wasted and stolen.
Then SHP will need some time to come to terms with the fact that that big truck load of goodies that comes every payday will now be a trolley coming home, and the family will loose weight. otherwise, we will scrap to make ends meet. The best leader is a leader that may have an idea to make something out of nothing. i am so scared to my bones.
