Probably not high since he seems honest and the majority of our pollies who have some college education has turned out to be a conman or a thief!

Really, if he only did grade 10, that is pretty funny a grade ten drop out leading our country.

Anyone who thinks that highly schooled people are preferable over wise, thinking people with much less schooling are the ones to be most laughed at.

You have corrupt politician and uneducated politicians, that is why PNG is still so undeveloped. What you need is a strong uncorruptable educated MP. Some MP's get in with good intentions but get corructed by the system, hence the word STRONG.

Why did somare trusted abal to be the ceo of this nation? The father of this nation definately saw sth great in abal over the others. And in this modern era unlike before, there's no place for kanakas or semi educated individual to be in such positions. So abal has got all it takes to be there!

He trusted him because they were close and he knew he wouldn't take the top job for himself. Not because of any leadership qualities that Abal thinks he has but rather Somare gave him the position for selfish reason. Anyways Abal good having you while you were in but now lets see how Robert Ganim fairs in the spotlight.

Sam Abal is really a trusted block. He is a honest person and God fearing man. I have known him. Somare appointed his as the CEO of PNG because he would lead the nation with wishdom and put everything in good order and not to lead into orruption like other MPs who are power hungry like Done Polye, Patrick Pruiatch, Blenden Namah and the like.
Sam is also wel qualified who ones represent the nation as an embassador, has been a departmental head, former Enga Provincial Administrator and he holds highest portolios in the ountry and we should not be stupid to say he is just a grade 10. He handles assignments with distintions and gains much respect from international leaders/dignitaries.
Wabag people made a stupid mistake by not giviing him the wining votes because voters voted for money and not leadership and services delivery.
Sam does not carry cash, he carries services for the people. Its not only the Wabag and Enga People that misses him but the country and the international as well.

Somare appointed Sam Abal becuase Abal was a soft hearted leader and can be easily manipulated by his family and or his kitchen cabinet.If Somare was genuine, he would have allowed his Deputy PM, and leader of Highlands, DOn Polye to take lead..Am sorry for Sam, he is such a honest guy and was innocent victim of Somare regime...

Sam Abal is fitting to be a pastor, not a politician..He is slow, indecisive, and slack..He cannot be a good politician in the contemporary society, otherwise, entire Wabag will go sleep with Abal..Am sorry for Somare family for using him and Ipatas eventually dumped him...He was wrong to fight powerful and chramatic leaders like Don Polye..Sam was given the ACting PM post only to be used and abused...and thats what they actually did..Poor Sam ended up fighting his own Engan brother Don Polye to please Somare, Betha and Arthur Somare...as a result, he is gone from politics..

If Sam was clever politician, he would have taken following actions while he was acting PM;
1. make peace with Don Polye and allow Polye to continue as Minister for Works..so then, he has nothing to worry about..
2. Alternatively, Sam should have asked Highlands NA MPs to vote out Don and replace him (Sam) as leader of NA Highlands..As soon as he has backing from NA Highlands, he can please Somare family later..
3. He was also wrong to sack Duma as Minsiter for Petroleum...

Abal failed to acknowledge genuine advice from some people..He was so dump and indecisive..This kind of leaders should call it a day and do something else..

Sam Abel is also honest, unlike the politicians you've mentioned. Honest people cannot be pollies in PNG, only corrupt people.

Sam Abel should move to Australia or anothe country where honest people can become pollies.

Well thats funny cuz in other countries the citizens end up knowing which of their leaders are honest or not. Cuz the dishonest ones go to prison.
