Re: AWESA IS A FAKE MP...PILA TO TAKE IT TO THE COURT TO WIN

What a laugh!
Francis Awesa is looking at the big picture of putting big bucks into his pocket from the Chinese road contract. You must either be a relative, a tribal wantok, or are simply naive.
For everyone else who reads this: NEVER trust a politician, especially one from the banana republic we call PNG. We're some of the most gullible people in the world because we believe the fake promises our pollies give, then give them all the freedom in the world to do whatever they want... and of course, they never use that time and energy to benefit us, but to selfishly benefit themselves.

Hi you have no choice but waite for another 5yrs to challenge Awasa,You seem to be creating problem by coming up with negative thoughts,,what's gone is gone, you see any problem, bring it up to law..Awasa em in magi b'long yu!!!!!!!! em win pinis u sawe too ho!!!!
This time, Pila will never give up the fight! Broaden your eyes and ears and wait for the court challenge that is soon to be seen and heard to be delivered. The PNGEC and the Court know the flaws being created by Awesa and his supporters to claim the fake win. So let me say it again that your MP elect Awesa is a Fake MP. It's all common knowledge!
Pila gave into Awasa during 2007 election, this time he will give easily, you don't crack your head, they have their ways to get together again, they are playing for money now a days,,Sorry,we struggling to be the supporter while they go and relex in POM city, isn't it true??
As usual Pila will harass Awesa through the courts for a recount or by-election.
As usual Awesa and Pila will meet somewhere and strike a deal to keep Pila happy - for 5 years.
As usual Pila will not inform his supporters on how that meeting went.
As usual Pila will challenge Awesa again in 2017.
As usual Pila's supporters will do all the extra work for him during the elections.
As usual the 800 or so people of Tona Piambil combined will swell to 12,000 come election time.
As usual the numerous the Walume/Kauapena candidates will split their votes and Awesa will win again.
As usual Pila's supporters will still not read this pattern that repeats itself every election time.
As usual please start again from the top....
guys, thought both Niningi and Awesa were delcared as winners at two different times. So who is the legitimate MP for imbonggu now though Awesa has been declared and remains second term MP? PNGEC is cooked up of the way it has handled the polling for imbonggu.
looking at it...EC will agree with the 1st declaration as the second one is flawed...the RO disobeyed EC directives/advice and used the figures/ballots in the disputed boxes. Obviously from the 'unusually' inflated figures in a certain box from a particular Pila stronghold.
It will be unfortunately the same story again. Anyways, what different is Pila to Francis? They are all the same and I believe both are lawyers by profession?
The fact is that the PNGEC directed the disputed boxes to be counted through a court order taken out by Niningi, and whislt they have been counted after many delays, 2 other boxes arrived late to be counted as well, which were in fact tapered with and contained all of Awesa's votes. So here both have created this mess and must be held responsible. Worse still, the electoral manager David Wakias have given out K20,000 as per media reports to all polling officials, police and others whislt appreciating them for their efforts for a safe, fair and free election. This is something new of a senior election offical never heard off before, and he should be investiaged as there may have been some fishy deals done to compromise his position by siding with candidates.
Niningi will never win even when he takes it to court...it will be mission impossible...he proved himself foolish by forcing the RO to declare him. He is becoming a laughing stock on the media...
He should have collated his evidence and taken it up with the court of disputed returns instead of resorting to bush-man attitude and attempting to take the law into his hands.
Only he knows better, being a lawyer for that matter and they way he and his cohorts conducted themseleves speak volumes of foolishness and short-sightedness.
Though it is not too late to take it up with the courts.
Anyhow, Francis Awesa also is needed in the national sphere especially the Chinese loan of 7 billion earmarked for major road infrastructure development, especially the Gulf to Kisenepoi highway construction. We care less about who builds it but we need the service, dont we?
Look at the Tagali bridge for instance. Marape's JDPBPC may not have had much say to who would be the company to construct it, let alone the cost involved but after all they have a world class bridge that will serve their generations to come.
We need such visionary leaders who can make an impact to bring tangible developments. Look at Pangia for instance. They are seeing some changes not only during the time O'Neill was PM but before that.
However, though Imbongu is right along the main highway, much needed services are not really reaching the populace but Awesa may have done a bit during his time thus collecting more votes than the rest of the candidates. It would only be fitting for an Imbongu speaking leader to take up where Peipul left off but there seems to be so much indiferrence and animosity amongst themselves thus they will never win for the years to come unless and until they learn to become Indians and leave a few credible ones with the Chief title.
I hear that Pila's supporters have taken the process to the next level and beyond court of disputes. I also hear that Pangians are being harassed and robbed at the border of SH/WHP. Pila has kept O'neill and Pangia people accountable. His People think O'Neil has orchestrated Awesa's win. Because O'Neil is our MP and PM, Pangians are involved. Things are possible in any direction you want to theorise. Awesa is a veteran in business and politics and what-have-you. Pila's people can take this up to appropriate authorities but playing around with Pangian people who have been voting in great leaders in the last 35 years and PM unchallenged. This talks about intellect ability rooting at village level. We take our chances. We Pangia people have been harassed, raped and robbed for years along this freaking highway for so long now. This will not continue. I warn the people of those border areas and Pila supporters to F#$%@kng stop it. Please save your elites in POM, HGN, GKA and everywhere, because those are where Pangians are controlling right in front of you.
Guys, lets bring our ego and pride low. Thus far no Pangian have been blamed for anything, and what you are saying is far-fetched and unlikely, which needs to be investigated and taken to the print media for everyone to learn and condemn such behaviour if true. It's too early to go off the mark by introducing some cheap mance that cannot be accepted by many of the rural folk living in Ialibu Pangia and else where around the country. If it's true then, we should only say it's the work of opportunists, and those involved should face the full force of the law to save face.
Jerry_ this is true that 2 vehicles bilongs to Pangians were hijacked and people were rob,harrassed,1 vehicle was badly damaged, how do you expect this happened?? It is not me and my close friends but I'm fed up brother.
No. No one should excuse corruption like you're doing by promoting "5 more years". Corruption needs to be confronted and stopped NOW whenever it is found to occur.
Please come out of the stone age and understand that as long as we look the other way and let our leaders be corrupt, we will remain one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Look at that list of corrupt countries that Transparency International has put out. Are any of those very corrupt countries (like PNG) considered developed countries, or even close to it?
You are not wrong but you lok very closley at Pila and AWESA's case,Pila had 6,000 plus voters in his small Peyambil community,do you belief,I think both Pila and Awesa are corrupt,it was corrupt against corrupt and Awesa was like to be declared the winner, go back to you small Peyambil village and waite for nxt 5 yrs..pish off!!!
Mate, if what you say is true then both Pila and Awesa need to be prosecuted for vote fraud and both thrown into prison. Just because one person does something wrong never excuses someone else from doing the same wrong thing. I hope to God that's not the way you live you personal life.
All you posters on this trend, can two wrongs make a right?? NEVER. How in the whole world would we expect 12,000 plus voters in that little square Peyambil village? Did all of Pila's dead ancestors and relatives rise on the voting day?
Why didn't the 12,000 plus Peyambil villagers crack down Awesa and his little band of tribal crooks in Mendi? It happened right in front of everyone - Francis and his band could be seen physically terrorising every Pila supporter and even manipulating the counting officials to the security forces. The whole system was truly compromised by the two candidates for that electrate.
So two wrongs trully can't make a right - this time the cruelest survived.
For Patrick to rise to the top again is because he used money to lure all the AitapeLumi people to vote for him. Because of poverty in that area, money overides merits. See Sandaun because they are poor, they look at elections as another means of making quick bucks.
Who do we blame for that mans rise up to the seat again. The very people of Aitape Lumi husat ken sidaun na kai2 rokrok for the next five years.
Calculations of their decision is this.
Money = I will vote for Patrick
Values = 0. Does not count in Aitape.
5 years = Results = Eat **** and remain like that. Even ol meri na youths votim em who are main ones struggling.
For Awesa. Never put a businessman in a role of a leader. They are business minded, the buisness overides leadership. Just like Patrick. We do not need accountants in Aitape/Lumi we need Engineers to engineer the entire area and put them in reality.
