After 4 years of wearing I am totally confused. I have poly back and sides and thin lace front. I have never had problems with the bonding. In fact I have been blessed with up to 6 week bonds. I have recently applied knot seler because my new piece was shedding alot. I seem to have alot of hair protruding from the underside as well. I apply one thin coat of ultrahold ans super tape on poly and lace. I have not changed anything I regulary do except the knot sealer applied once as per instructions from Debbie. Now my problem is that the bond is very good until I take my first shower. As soon as I shampoo ny hair with the same shanpoo I have always been using the fron bond completely detaches from the lace. The supertape is still tight on the poly. The supertape that detaches from the lace is still sitting strong as ever on ny scalp. Now this has happened 3x. Sometines as soon as 2 days after re bonding. What is going on, I need help here. i was the piece very well after debonding. Lace release, glue melter/remover. Then I wash the unit with grease cutting dish washing liquid apply 99% alcohol and make sure no residue is present. Anyone that can help I need it. I also find that my front lace is shedding alot, when the supertape lifts in the shower, the tape that is still on my head is full of the hairs that come from the piece, once again HELP!!
