Drop some high SPF sunscreen in the solution to hold the color longer...
I have not been wearing for a couple years now (after 14 years) but I used that trick and it worked well. Rarely had to tint the hair before it became useless. My color was 1B. I would probably go to a lighter shade now if i decided to wear again. Which is on the table for the Winter months.
The [problem is I despise hats as they are too hot and need the sun protection....but I am not really sure i want to jump back into the hassle of wearing..
everyone I worked with knew I wore so they are not surprised by anything I do. I came in one day from 4 inch hair to shaved. Working with customers is another story. I may not see them for months at a time. always an awkward moment for them. LOL
Next week I fly to LA so I am kicking around wearing for the plane flight only as ALL my ID has long hair. The last time I did this I took it off as soon as I got off the plane to gasping all around me.... I don;t know if they thought I was a terrorist or just whacked. I hate flying.
If I change my ID to bald...then wearing hair presents another issue when getting on a flight, My wife prefers the horseshoe to the sheaved look. I prefer all or nothing.
UGH the dilemma..... But I am reording anyway. I want some back stock in case I decide to wear again. Sorry have not got back to you Eric.....will call you this week LOL
