As crazy as it sounds, my new full cap was delivered on Thursday the 22nd to my moms house, we where not home, the package and some UPS boxes that where left by the front door where taken. We idid not find out about till yesterday the 23rd. Once I tracked the package yesterday I found out it got delivered on Thursday the 22nd, I was expecting it on the 23rd, we laso tracked the ups shipment it got delivered early also on the 22nd we where expecting it on the 23rd. So beacause it was all delieverd a day earlier we where not home. A couple of houses down the block the same thing happened. So some crazy thiefs stole my fullcap thinking it was something else. I cannot believe it, lucky I just can go out with my head shaved. I feel for Eric he worked real hard and got me the full cap made super fast, always informing me on what was happening and surprised me by having done before Christmas and my wedding anniversary and now I can't even tell you guys what it looked like. The one that he sent me was the skin full cap, now I will just have to wait till January for the lace one to show up, I will then make a video of how to dye the hair from blond to dark brown.
So again, Eric did a wonderful job of getting me my piece made and really did it super fast. In under 6 weeks for a fullcap which is amazing considering I sent him a template which he then sent out, so I'm super happy with his service just sad that I can't really comment on the quality of the hairpiece itself. I'm sorry Eric, I know you worked hard in this.

Maykell, this is horrible news. I was so excited for you to have this in time for Christmas and your anniversary.
I cannot even try to understand what is wrong with some people out there. To steal anything is wrong as it is, but around Christmas time just seems to make it all that much worse.
I just had to update this because I just read your email that it happened to others on your street as well....I'm convinced there are people out there without a conscience. I feel bad for everyone in your neighborhood, just an awful thing to have happen.

I am so sorry Maykell...I know you were really looking forward to receiving your
full cap...I was wanting to see how it looked, and I am almost as disappointed
as you are...again, I feel for you and Eric!!!!!!!! SORRY!

Thanks but don't feel bad for me luckily, I don't need a piece like a lot of people here that would be in a bind if something like this happened to them. I feel bad for Eric though after all the hard work he did and I can't even put up pictures or describe the piece. As for the rest of the stuff it is nothing we can't live without and we had a good laugh picturing them opening the hairpiece package, would like to see their faces when they do that.

Hey Maykell you sure B.A. dosen't live close to you and took it so he can make up the fact he screwed someone elses order and decided to lift it to cover his ASS!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone and Maykell with your attitude I know you can wait until other piece is delivered.
And to everyone on here its nice to know that this forum has that same feeling that B.A. had at one time....that we are here to help each other out not to berate each other.

I would suggest that deliveries require a signature (unless I missed that in Maykell's post).
Maykell, I would love to see the video you are describing of coloring the blond piece...and the results. I am glad to see you over here...even if I did waste my money on that Hollister product you liked so much. You have always been a valued contributer to the forums, even since you put your piece in the washing machine years ago.

The medical adhesive that Maykell suggested works pretty fair on my skins !
Although I think G2BG in a combo of the spray and the rubber cement works, maybe a tad better!
Ahhhh.......love my skins !!
No knot bleaching, no glue issues, no lifting,no lace fraying, no messy cleanups, ......
remove-clean-reattach in 5 minutes.....and a nice fairly natural hairline if ya get the scallops!
I have one of Eric's skins...and when I cut it in it,myfndings on the Northwest Skins, on the forum.
Seems like I had a senior moment :)....and forgot to order a scalloped front...gotta have that crystal clear scallop front, that really adds realism to the hairline. But I ordered a pair of serrated blade scissors out of China, actually Pinking Shears, they are.......and when I do my cut in I will scalloped the front myself ! :)
But not till I get back from my 5 day home based business seminar at the MGM in Vegas !! We have over 20,000 people going !!! I don't think the arena at the MGM, where all the boxing matches are held is gonna be able to hold us all !!!..:)We had to move our yearly convention from January to August as we need the New Orleans Saints Football Stadium because of the number of people going....a venue to hold us all and of course the stadium was not availiable during football season !!.......oppppppps !! sorry Eric, forgot this is a hair forum,I just get carried away talking about my coffee business !!
Back to the skins for a moment......I have mentioned many times on other forums.....yeah they get a little hot......if ya out doing pick and shovel, that kinda stuff out in heat.....but like mentioned before, I have worked on flight lines,,,Yuma, Arizona, 120* out on the tar mat, St. Louis, Mo....yeah that could get a little hot there because of the humidity, Miami, Florida flight line, not too bad with the breeze off the ocean, and 15 years here in Albuquerque, now thats a hot flight line !! :) All in all hot, but not too bad ! But in my personal case, for me and the ease of operation, well worth the trade off !Now winter time, piece of cake, in fact 2 days ago ( in a sleevelees T-shirt) I was up doing a roof !! Worked up a sweat, but the head was fine ! T shirt in January.....ahhhh , love this Albuquerque !! :)
Wish all a great prosperous and healthy new year !!
