I posted this on the old forum a couple of years ago, but thought I would share my first hair wearing experience again, it is rather funny. Back in the late 70's i was going to my cousins wedding. I was 24 years old and balding. My uncle, who was a hair dresser picked me up at the airport. He hadn't seen me in a couple of years, and took one look at me and said, "you are not going to my daughter's wedding bald!" We went straight to his shop, thank god it was Sunday, so it was closed. He took a red ladies fall, and dyed it, (he was an expert colorist), and cut in a partial, and attached it with eye lash glue! It looked amazing. I wore that thing for a year, until I had to go to a full topper. Just goes to show, a good color match, and cut in, can do wonders. Bear in mind, in the 70's the quality of hair replacement was nowhere where it is now, but it still looked good.

Too funny Craig, I think I would have had a panic attack if I had to transition that fast and without warning...sounds like he wasn't taking no for an answer though. However, I guess if I would have had someone like that to help show me the ropes in person, I would have switched long before I finally did.

Eric, you are right he wasn't going to take no for an answer. He may have been a hair dresser, but he has the personality of a cop! He is quite a character, he wears also, he is 85 years old and still wears a blond piece, and of course dyes his own hair blond and can still pull the look off. He is very dapper, has a mustache and looks like David Niven.
