There is a chance of finding "Zepher" if you are willing to do much work.
If I were doing the work I would first collect all the personal info I could and then Google "forums Zepher" to see if she has kept using that name and has had a post or two since 2000. Of course, even without info I did such and checked 10 pages...the most interesting thing I found is that someone using that name has registered at multiple sites and made no posts and did not fill out a profile...tis what I used to do when hunting wabbit and needed to register in order to be able to check their members list for missing members ones.
I also hit the WayBack Machine and punched in the address posted by the thread starter...turns out they only archived the post titles and not the content...did see where "freedomforum" pawned their forums off on "truman.fac" which also only has post titles archived...pity shame that. Did not check further for me need to fall down soon :-)
There are things that can be done if you still have an old phone number but that stuff be mostly illegal now (Phreaking) and I do not recommend such.
