Notes:
The Brooklin Merchants were coached by Brad MacArthur and Jason Crosbie as Paul St. John served the last game of his three-game suspension.
It appeared to be a family reunion at Brooklin. Bill was reffing, Brad was coaching, Mike Fryer, son-in-law and brother-in-law, was playing. In the stands, grandmother, daughter and wife, and grandson.
Shenanigans:
1:35 into the game, Frank Littlejohn and Chad Hill got into an even tussle and received 5 mins each for fighting. Then at 5:17 of the first period Littlejohn received a 2 min penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. Now the question is did Brad send Littlejohn to discuss the assessment with his Dad? For leaving the penalty box and other comments, Littlejohn received a further 10 min misconduct and a game misconduct.
